Cavalier Ethigom says, 'Greetings to you, _____, and welcome to New Tanaan. The adepts that call this place home have graciously stepped forward to offer their aid to all of Norrath's travelers that enter our domain. Do not fear those here whom upon your world would be foe -- there is neither judgment nor prejudice among us. In my mortal years, I served Karana as a knight. New Tanaan called to me in my latter years and I accepted the invitation. Ever since, I have grown beyond my mortal power as a crusader of my deity and the spells that Norrath had enabled me to possess are no longer needed. I have scribed them from memory upon new parchment and are at the disposal of any paladin who may find use of them.'
