Lvl 70 Dru ~2k AA, 70 Ench ~500 AA, 74 Sham ~2k AA.

74 tank merc, used 2 70 heal mercs. No one got under 90% hp.

Slow and steady, I just spammed barkspur on tank. Stay at range on treant, when the adds pop they'll aggro tank. Use HoT's and reptile to keep heal aggro down. Dont cast any AEs on the trees, just let tank hold aggro with DS on. Can do what you want with the Dryad, dot the crap out of her. No need to burn, just steady DPS. IGNORE HER DOT, stay out of ramp. Was not hard~

Just killed her with 3 lvl 80 chars(Cleric, Beast & Druid). Not too bad of a fight, just time consuming.

All the info on her is correct. After Withering Glare DOT, All of my stats were reduced to 1. Radient Cure did the trick but seemed like as soon as I would cast it the dot would be right back on me. So just lived with it and used more pets.

easy these days

We just did her with 5, all 75, SK,SHM,BST,RNGR,DRU. Adds not a problem, SK tanked em all, 3k AC 16000 HPS. All toons Katta armor.
Dryad

We tried this the other day in a bit of a fly buy night fashion. We had 9 people average lvl 71, inluding 2 75 nec's, a sk, a cleric, myself (druid) a 69 druid, a shammy, and a mage. The treant was easy, but a couple died on the blackened tree limbs. 75 chanter reported that the branches were unmezzable, but that might have been because he was trying an aoe mezz.

I kept the last branch busy till all were rezzed and ready.

The dryad was a little wough mostly because we didnt have a rampage tank. main tank died at around 65%, and i managed to kite it around until it was about 15, then i died, and the rest quickly fell.

All in all it was quite fun. I think we did pretty good for the force we had. damn near got her dead.

Next time she'll die though.
Not too hard

We just finished my 1.5 today and I must say that the last fight really wasn't that bad. We had about 19 people, varying from some lower 60s to very uber 75s. One of the uber rangers actually ended up tanking both the treant and the dryad with no problems. We lost a few casters (including myself) during the 10 mob spawn after the treant went down. We kept the last one busy while we rezzed, then moved onto the dryad. The dryad AOE didn't seem to cause much trouble (many people were mounted just in case) and went down quickly. Honestly, the earthshaker took longer because of the FD.

downed her a few days ago, 21 people, all DoN - Time, and all i could say was OVERKILL, we pwn'd major, only 1 person died, and that was when killing the branches /cough necro. Well i have no doubt she can be grouped, hell maby even done with warrior shaman and cleric,
Fun and easy
# Feb 20 2006 at 3:53 AM Rating: Decent
Just singled grouped her tonight... was much easier than we thought. War/Cler/Shammy/Rogue/Dr00x2 (Well...we did have a 2nd shammy show up for the Dryad portion of the fight, so maybe 1 group isn't quite accurate =P)

Warrior was Qvic/Time geared 13.5k hps
Clr/Shm/1 dr00 Anguish geared
Other dr00 (Me) and rogue had a mix of DoN and others

Treant went down easily... spawned and roamed by the pond and we pulled it to the SE corner of zone. Once the tree went down, we just had the tank ae taunt and run around. Branches were easily snared and kited. The whole group was laughing up a storm... was the most fun I'd had doing this epic. Once we were down to 1 branch, we rooted him and medded up.

Once FoM, re-engaged... dryad spawned. She was not NEARLY as tough as we had expected. War was easily kept up while stonewall lasted, but after that needed a few quicky spot heals in between nukes.

Infusion of the Faithful vet aa tip was a blessing! Thanks for that idea...it worked wonders.

DI saved the tank once near the very end of fight, but I just chalk that up to the gods knowing I deserved my epic =P

Don't forget to bring your Nubs (Our rogue... I swear he's the best lucky charm ever)

Maybe your str went way below your load weight. I think your agi drops then.
Negating withering glare

Did this 12/11 on Saryn for Celess. When we did the dryad someone shouted use Infustion of the Faithful. Didn't think it would work but hey worth a try right. Well Celess tried and her stats went back up and she was free to move around. So when going into this fight pop Infusion to negate the withering glare =)

Bard song works
# Aug 07 2005 at 8:51 PM Rating: Decent
I got bored and checked tonight. With Wunshi's / songblade clicky (60 str) diaku champion etc my str still went to 1, but with bard song it went to 146 with a 2.2 mod+war march of muram. Just FYI if anyone is still concerned;) it doesn't really matter to us.
wondering
# Feb 04 2005 at 3:17 PM Rating: Decent
I tried first dispelling her debuff with crystallized pumice and then tried using crusaders touch to remove it to no avail after 3 casts of annul magic and 2 casts of CT. Has anyone had syuccess removing her debuff?

What is crystallized pumice? Am getting ready to do this fight atm and have not heard of it before, was just wondering what it is so I could try to get a better idea of what works and what doesn't work. Thanks

You don't suffer from encumberance while mounted. This is an alternative I suppose, but convincing all of your melee to buy mounts, then finding a way to get them all close enough to hit the dryad (melee while mounted sucks) would be a lot of work for one encounter. It was something I hadn't thought about before though.
Not too bad a fight.

My guild did this mob tonight for one of our druids. Observations I noticed:

1. She's going to get you with that AE melee debuff. Most of our guild were at or right at the resist cap and it did no good.

2. For the tree part before she pops, have druids there to AE snare the limbs, then spread them out and root them. This will make life much easier for you.

3. Keep the last limb alive until you're ready for the Dryad. She pops on the last limb's corpse, as soon as it goes down.

4. Make sure the MT keeps the dryad in range of the raid. With everyone's STR down to 1, the casters WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MOVE. If you get out of range of them, you're SoL on heals/nukes.

5. Make sure all the melee come into this fight as light as possible so they can keep moving. Keep gear on of course, but you don't need 8 stacks of iron ration in your pack. SoW/SoE/Selos will help tremendously in keeping up with the push.

As long as everybody keeps their heads when the ilmbs pop, it shouldn't go too bad. We had 19 people, avg raid level 66, and only 3 people died (one was MT, but ST took up aggro quickly), all of which were rezzed before the fight was over.

Wondering what all STR buffs will stack up so that you can still have some STR when the debuff hits? Strength of the Daiku, Focus, etc.?

Also, any DEX that stacks? I know the ATK will be the main nasty, since that is so hard to come by in buffs.

I think even with all the AA cap raises the limit is still only in the 300's, lv65 raises it to 280, planar power to 305, Chaotic Potential to 330, lv70 I think it goes up to 355 but I'm not sure on that.

For buffing purposes between Diaku (35) Talisman of Wunshi (85) Champion (140) for a bonus 260str from a lv70 shaman then most base strenght is capped.

But say with 355 natural strenght even with 260 extra from buffs I think you will still go down to 1, but would be interesting to see if the debuff works on current stat regardless of cap leaving you with about 155str or ignores any str above the cap and drops you to 1

Oh, for dex same buffs gives 253 dex and 140 atk from just the shaman, with a ranger can add some more atk

pretty sure well it may be capped at that buffs plus gear may give you more then that, meaning may have enough to move a little well debuffed. Not 100% sure on that though.
