my lvl 23 dark elf necro had np with him , he cond yellow to him . pet had 65% life , i hade 80% life 25 % mana . toughf fight thou , necros be smart about your spells. he is a quest to many so kill him when there is few in zone!!

Dont touch this guy if he aggros you zone...its annoying and he drops nothing but bad faction that you probably dont know about or care about so leave him alone its not hard.

First, the question: Does *anyone* know the respawn time on the Alchemist?

Second, the request: Stop killing him. Please. He's used to trigger a fight for Greenmist, and seems to have an absurd respawn time. Don't ***** up another player's chance to do their quest just because you "felt" like killing him. He doesn't have any loot, you can get the same experience off of other mobs in the zone, just leave him be.

Was looking for something fun to kill when I saw him. Dark blue scowl to my 26 DE Necro, so I figured "What the heck."

Sent pet, heat blood, engulfing darkness, fear, and 2 shock of poisons later, he had probably 1/5th of a bub of hp. Great exp, but he runs more off Scaled Mystics faction than Legion of Cabilis, since he has always been scowl to me, but scorpikis are apprehensive to me. Perhaps I got my factions wrong. Oh well. Easy, easy kill. If you attack from his left, make sure once you send pet to get your DoT's done before you fear, because that guy runs like mad even when engulfing darkness sticks. He resists fear usually the first time, but the second time sends him runnin... fast.

As a Dark Elf, my faction with Iksar anything sucks, and I don't mind keeping it that way :P

Also, I've never seen him con even or yellow to me. He's always been dark blue to me at 26. *shrug*

I noticed today that the Alchemist wasn't there. To the left of where he's usually at was a large stone podium, with a book on it. From a short distance away, I was getting the "You can't reach that from here" messages, but when I got up next to it, I couldn't do anything with it. Any ideas?

How bad are the faction hits for whacking this guy? I was going back to the outpost from Warslik's and went along the shoreline to avoid the nasties in the rest of the zone, and he aggroed me- I managed to cast Feign Death and he went away, then I went into the outpost, rested up, raised a pet and went and killed him because he dared to lift a hand against me. I didn't notice faction hits at the time, and I hope they weren't too severe, because I don't want to ***** myself over with the Legion, in particular.

I took him down today :). I buffed my 27 Earth pet and myself. He conned dark blue to me. Pet went in and rooted him. I cast malisen, cancel magicand then I nuked him 5 times with each nuke between 175 and 200 and I had about a bubble of mana left. Good xp but no loot today. Faction hits were Scaled Mystices got worse and Legion of Cabilise (bad spelling sorry) got worse.

I just got the mask of deception which allows my kitty kat to pose as a dark elf, was hesitant to unload at the docks so i swam ashore, i did an OOC and asked if i would be able to bind on the dock as i am a kitty kat in dark elf clothing. Everyone said i would be ok, not thinking about iksar race , i thought i better test it out before heading into the city. so i walked up to this guy not thinking that he is kos to everything. I had half health at the time lvl 29 rogue. he jumped up from off his knees and started to kick the crap out of me. He got me down to about 20 hp, meanwhile i am yeliing for help the whole time :P without any luck, I was also hitting my instill doubt hot key during the whole time he was whooping me. As my health decreased and decreased, i got down to about 20 hp as mentioned above, he missed me several tiems and BAM my instill doubt worked. He turned around and ran like a mad man at Mach 4, looked like he had been sowed 400 times. So i imediately turned and ran down the bank. I quickly hid myself and sat and camped. As the 30 seconds ticked down, of course seeming like 30 days instead with 15 seconds left i see you fear spell or whatever as worn off. I almost started to cry. I quickly cycled my camera view and saw him heading straight for me. Down to 15 seconds so i really started to worry, then he stopped and started to run around in a circle, couldof been a glitch or maybe i got lucky and he couldnt pick up my trail. This is the only time ever instill doubt has saved my life, usually when it works it sends them running and i follow backstabbing the hell out of them when i usually end up running into another mob or at best a named character like oowamp:) Thought you guys would like my story i got many more if ya want to hear some funny ones ill share my experiences, Fermund Acheez 29 rog Thouluz Paelles Server

dropped faction with Scaled Mystics and Legion of Cabilis
dropped her easy with 23nec (me) 23sk and 22sk, pulled with engulf, sent melees in (3 pets and 2SKs) then Heat blood'ed and heart flutter'ed and she went down in about 2mintutes, dropped nothing

i rpreviuiosly killed her with 28 war much easier, war did all th work pretty much, heh

Just wanted to say that the lvl on this MoB must have changed.. I a 28th season necromancer at the time was hit in the back by this alchemist the other day when I was exploring the land near the outpost.. He conned blue to me and was not hard at all to kill..
