I stumbled upon this guy today when I tried to CoH my cleric. I soon realized this guy popped every time I tried to cast it. I also realized a nifty opportunity. I summoned like 6 of them to test out ae killing them to see what kind of exp I would get. Yeah, they grant no experience upon death.

Ok, in hindsight, this is a funny twist! But our mage did Call of Hero and had at least 6 A Grimling Heroes spawn back to back for some reason. Maybe it is currently bugged? Anyway, this feature is brutal!
This is one of the funniest things I've ever encountered in EverQuest. A friend tried to use Call of the Hero, and this guy shows up. I wonder if he could be summoned over and over for the experience. He was too low of level for us to tell.
