Scrying Tome (EQ2 Quest Series)

This is not a quest series, but a group of repeatable quests started by books obtained by Scrying.

The Tome Quests

There are four types of Books:

Marshall (Fighters: Beserker, Bruiser, Guardian, Monk, Paladin, Shadowknight)
Arcanist (Mages: Coercer, Conjuror, Illusionist, Necromancer, Warlock, Wizard)
Diviner (Priest: Defiler, Fury, Inquisitor, Mystic, Templar, Warden)
Outrider (Scout: Assassin, Brigand, Dirge, Ranger, Swashbuckler, Troubador)

These books or Tomes are quest starters. When you examine one of these you will be prompted to accept a quest to kill X of a certain type of mob in zone Y in Z minutes if you are of the right class for the tome. Do not examine the book until you are ready, as the timer starts right away. It is recommended to combine the lesser, standard and greater version of a specific tome as they will require you to complete the same task only to kill an increasing amount of them (5, 10 or 20). The reward for completing these quests are adventure experience, achievement experience and an additional quest in your completed quest journal. These tomes are tradeable and can be offered to other players by using the broker.

The zones listed above are just suggestions based on the level of the quests and availablily of the appropriate mobs.
