Hasij dropped his notes inside Ayat Clan (you can see the yellow dot on your minimap from where you are talking to him). Go get them, then take them and the Weeping Coast Soundgathering Conch (Ggl) to Dilar Yeli (Ggl) to the east.

He seems terribly unconcerned with Hasij's work.

The a soldier comes running up and tells him that the Lieutenant wants him to return to the Village, that this is no place to be with a child. After the soldier gives up and leaves you get offered the next quest.
