EQ2 Quest:A Gathering Obsession Beyond the Grave  

if you don't see Steve in Obol Plains there is a reason. it is absolutely necessary to do the Captain's Lament and Fond memories before you will see him there. those are the quests leading up to captain overboard - which is needed for the vesspyr tradeskilling missions. don't assume that because captain overboard is not really necessary for the pony you won't need the quests before it. you simply can't see steve if you didn't make contact with him in Mara on the quests leading up to Obol.
