The Allakhazam's first annual chess tournament is about to begin.

This is a single elimination tournament, I might consider different depending on the amount of people that sign up.

The tournament will begin next Sunday (1-25-04) at 1 pm (PST) and will probably last a few hours, make sure you can play during those times if you sign up. We will be populating table 120-140 in the store front cafe on MSN Gaming Zone Non-Timed, Single elimination tournament.

What do I need to play of master of ceremonies?

1. Sign up for an account on MSN Gaming Zone.
2. Post on this thread before Saturday of next week (1-24-04) I will be making tournament roster then. Create an account and make sure you can play before you post. Let us know your user name.
3. Be in the Store Front Cafe before 12:50 pm (PST) Sunday (1-24-04)


What is the roster of events for said day?

12:50 PM - Roster Call, anyone not in the room at this time will be eliminated from the tournament.

1 PM - 1st Round Begins. I will allow 45 minutes per game, first round will last until every game is over. If your game runs long you will get a 5 minute warning, or one of you will be given the chance to give up. If your game runs longer then that I will judge who the winner is and the tournament will move on. If you are upset at any time with one of my calls please suck my ****.

2:10 PM - 2nd Round Begins. 50 Minutes per game, 10 minute warning, file complaints with my ****.

3:20 PM - 3rd, 4th, or if needed 5th round. These games will last as long as needed.

I will not be participating in the tourney, but I will accept any challenge so I may humiliate you after the games are over.

Why MSN Game Zone? It is easily accesable to everyone, easy to monitor games, and easy to ignore idiots.

I might set up a chat program through MSN but most likely we will just be using the rooms global chat as there will most likely be little to no activity.
