I was not going to stay in the forum. I was going to post a few opinions and then leave, never to be heard from again. I changed my mind though.

This is truth: No one ever leaves. No one. No. One.

This palce is the black hole of the internet-- EQ junkies (present or former) who are addicts by nature, receive instant gratification here rather than the measured reward vs punishment system of the game. Think of it as smoking crack as opposed to just plain smoking.

Gee, another sockpuppet is staying? Wow.

Speaking of, since GWB has already read from the "How do you know I'm a sockpuppet?" chapter of Trolling For Dummies, has there ever been an OT who we called out as a sockpuppet and was wrong about? I don't think so. I guess it's just that all the "real" posters for the most part started in General EQ Questions and migrate to OoT after a while. No one can convincingly randomly find the OoT section of a gaming forum, start mocking board regulars and have people think you're anything but a puppet.

Well, if you mean "accusing everybody on the forum 'till you get the right person" then no.

IIRC my sock-puppets have been blamed on Thundra many times.

No, no.. I meant has anyone ever been wrongly accused of being a sockpuppet, period. Obviously if we accused every poster of being a sockpuppet, we'd be wrong a healthy percentage of the time.

While the origins of each puppet may be mistaken, I don't recall an innocent ever being called a sockpuppet. Not seriously anyway, unless someone actually thought Katielynn is a puppet.

Oh, I get ya.

No. I think the board has sniffed them all out.

I might be confusing him with someone else, but wasn't it determined that 'Xin' was not a sockpuppet, although the entire board believed him to be?

And yes, 95% of all sockpuppets are eventually blamed on me. Not that I can blame anyone for fingering me, given my history.

It's rather disappointing that the board fingers me for every sockpuppet that rears its ugly head. 99% of sockpuppets are of the "Look at me, I'm annoying and like to spam a lot" variety. My God sockpuppets were of that variety, but all of my other sockpuppets had other personalities.

Yes, I created 'Copernicus' almost a year ago, but aside from him, who was far from being your stereotypical 'sockpuppet', I've been puppet-free.

Playing with puppets just isn't as entertaining as it once was. But I still greatly enjoy the few original and inspired sockpuppets that other board members create from time to time.

Once again my eternal associates of internet hell that we so lovingly call OOT when have I stated that I am a sock puppet? Or when have I stated that I was not? Once again each of you making accusations towards me point to your own attempts at granduer in sock puppets that have failed. Granted you have had your 15 minutes of fame and then you can no longer play the charade and out yourself because some of you just aren't talented enough to evolve your character past your first circle jerk of an idea.

Perhaps the fixation that you have on GWB is that not one of you has made the correct correlation as to which previous sock puppet I am even trying to emulate or actual person if in fact I where attempting to even do that. Yet each of you that are fixated in this game in which you have created point fingers in the hopes that you would be the one that "outed" a supposed puppet.

This stabitha **** that mrens is so self absorbed with, I have not even seen a post from this one eyed puppet. Though from the description that mrens so proudly states of "her" she obviously gave a great hand job, since he is still infatuated with it. Most people would admit that rosy palmer and her five sisters are a descent solution to a prolonged period of abstinence but most would not admit to naming their hand and then self ************ on an internet forum with its memory.

Steal that line from Thundra? 'Cause she uses it to. I'll give you the same answer: If I was worried about people noticing me, I'd make a dipshit out of myself all over the forums like the rest of the attention whores. Someone using a sockpuppet to claim that I might have some inadequacy complex that I need to cure by drawing attention to myself is quite the bit of the ole pot-kettle-black, no?
