I've barely played EQ (or had time for contributing much here) the past few months, but I managed to play a bit the last few days to wind up the XP bonus time. I'm still Agnarr focused.
-couldn't get a group on my main yesterday, so took my #1 alt from level 3 to level 6. Under 10 is a range I don't have much fun with anymore so it actually is a good one to do for me during the bonus. The character is a wood elf ranger so orc killing, which I can actually do happily even when they go grey. I find Crushbone fun whether there is XP or not. I also really like having tracking.
-Better luck with my main (monk) today. I'm actually within 34% of level 50 which was my goal to be at for the start of Luclin. My sporadic play means set low goals! Being a newbie to the class it is still pretty refreshing. It is going better than my Phinny rogue did, but then my short sessions of mostly solo play aren't exactly the best way to play most classes... I will eventually level more alts but I want the gear to trickle-down to them first and fast travel in the game.
-I bought the preorder for "Ring of Scale" which is funny as aside from a couple of /claim things I don't really have any current use for it. On live my best characters have never hit level 80 and I have 2 heroics I can fool with but that just hasn't caught me any time I have tried it. I'm impressed with all the work on RoS the team here has done, hopefully the community does the usual buzz of posting the first few weeks to really get that off on the right track.
