Plane of Knowledge (Sub-Level 2) - Minstrel Joet
I am a level 44 bard with a brass skill of 97 at the moment. I cannot get this song to play at all, tried for almost a half hour. 97 isn't that high but it should be enough to at least get it to play once. Any ideas? I have a weapon with Brass 18 on it, that should be good enough to substitute for an instrument right?
Unless u already have a baz mule, a nice way to cheat is to play the song on the trader boards, cause u lvl skill up with an instrument in hand while trader is up. I suggest standing AFK in a lowend zone and AE fearing everything as they dont hit for much and they run soon as the AE kicks in, they also have trouble upsetting songs.....what i did for a few hrs and went from 160-168. should be more skillups at 97 skill.
does using the brass instrument boosts the haste portion of the spell?

No the hastecomponent makes it a lousy stacker in general. Now you are mostly limited to 6 player groups if crawling it really is worthwhilechecking out the other classes in your group wich song to use in order to complement the missing classes in your group. Sometimes the str component is more desirable, but in most cases dex is preferrable amd sometimes you want celerity/chant of battle and katta's-sword up. It's really a matter of what is preferred at what moments. With a rogue and a ranger as melees or ppl with procking weapons this song is not as good as the other combo. If you on the other hand experience a lot of casters, and want to raise resists then this song in combo with some psalms could be a better bet than chant of batle/celerity/katta's combo.
