I see no one has argued the existence or nonexistence of this effect for a while now, but I just wanted to make a quick post for any new players that may be reading this. Regardless of it exists or not, this is a recourse, i.e. a spell effect, and not a spell. Therefore, you cannot buy it. Additionally, it seems that no one has found anything that creates this spell effect, although it is very similar to the Elemental Empathy Recourse caused by Elemental Empathy. This effect is probably a mispost.

i spent 1 day in there and got 6 of them 1 set for my dad and 1 set for my brother in law then it took me umm 5 days to get my 3 lol the spells is worht it but just hope it dont take as long as it did for me lol gl the best ones that drop this are the 2 luggalds in that one room they are the only ones that seemed too drop any of the items was those 2 in room next to that big oval room lol but be careful can get nasty lol im 55 and it still a big pain lol gl and the spell is very nice to have:)

Ok looking at the posts here and looking at the info I am guessing that this was made up by some person just to have a couple of laughs.. i mean take a look at all that can cast this spell... Mage,chanter,wiz,necro,and Bezerker?? unless there is a clicky with this effect then i can understand. But come on. If its not found in Lucy then it doesnt exists. What it could be is a simple spell that was casted by a npc that was charmed and the log picked it up. Perhaps. But thats slim to none, and slim left town.

Castersrealm does not have this spell listed in there spell list... i have not seen it cast and have not found it i belive it is not in exsistence

What is the difference between this spell and Shield of the Magi?
this spell does exsist it a gates of discord spell it won't be out till feb 14

When the new spell Kindle was introduced some time back the spell was scribing into books as this spell for about 5 hours and the GM's realized that this same vendor was selling the druid imbue spells with no deity on them. When the vendor was removed due to this deity problem i was not able to purchase the spell again until the next day, at which time they fixed the spell Kindle to scribe as the correct spell so for my 600 plat worth of vendor spells i got both Elemental Empathy R. and Kindle.
Now some info on the spell....
It is a highly beneficial spell to me allowing me to buff the pet and myself with one spell. Also this spell does overwrite my pets bo4 spell so i would have to think that it is bo4 not bo3 and also the effect of this spell is much longer than bo4.
so it is a onecast spell of bo4 and shield of the magi and sadly to say i have yet to see this spell again.

How nice. You got ELEMENTAL Empathy Recource. Too bad this is SOUL Empathy Recourse. This is castable by Magicians AND Enchanters AND Necromancers AND Wizards. This is NOT Magician only.

This spell does not exist. There are a lot of spells listed that don't exist. I'm at a loss as to why they are still posted on the site.

Of course some spells "won't exsist" if they are on test servers. They test alot of spellsthat don't make it in to the actual game.

The above information is posted directly from Alla's spell description pages. Only the spell blocking effect listed on the shield spell differs from the description of Soul Empathy Recourse. Everything else matches.
If you click on the Lucy Spell View link, it will show "Could not find spell id 3708".
Gates of Discord is now out, and I have yet to see anything that contradicts my previous posts.
The logical conclusion? My original posts were absolutely correct! Someone else explained that the spell "Kindle" was scribing as this spell for a few short hours.
The spell doesn't exist (except as a brief error) and whoever was posting otherwise was inventing information.
Please don't nuke posts that contain correct information as it could confuse people.
If further information becomes available that puts a lie to what I've said, I'll give everyone a cookie.
edit: Of course I already found a small error in my post which I have now corrected. Sheesh!

as i have posted under the other mage LOY spell (Primal remedy) this spell is what i like to call a bridge spell for higher lvlers it serves no purpose other than is combinds out arch shield line of spell with the burnout line of spell and make it opne cast and for cheaper than casting the both seperatly this spell is unneeded unless you plan on staying near the lvl that this spell is it will not stack with any similar spells ie burnout and arch shielding lines some classes do benifit in the long run from loy spells take chanters for enstance they get a 500 mana tap over time and a EB/UV/see invise spell for them LOY spells are good otherwise for us mages all it is, is a formalty

This is the second half of the new magician Elemental Empathy spell. It's basically a combination Shield of the Magi and Burnout 3. Much more mana efficient than casting them separately too.

This is NOT the second quested spell from LoY. You're talking about the level 52 spell, elemental empathy. And to the poster that claims this spell also affects our pets. Where are you getting this information?

Doesn't exist according to EQCasters. The spell descrption is exactly the same as Shielf of the Magi.
