Was in a group the other day killing in the entry hall in Sebilis (area 3 on map)...this spell dropped off one of the MObs, don't remember which one though

This Spell is fixed I have New world Graphics runnin and IM now constaly being mistaken for a beastlord.
This spell can be researched with Keris's Page 7, Left and Right, along with a Quill and a blank piece of Parchment in the Phantasmal Tome.
This spell is bugged, i have all new world graphics running with some ram to spare and the illusion gives me a tiger body with the black spotted cat head, this is with no head armor graphics so the code for this spell is probaly messed up and they havent fixed it yet.
This spell looks odd on my DE ench, her head is dark gray w/an orange body ???? Is that the way this illusion is suppose to look like ??
This is because you don't have the Vah Shir Luclin Model on. The models used for Vah Shir aren't great at all. The head can be a different color, but the body (which is very anorexic looking!) is always of the default tiger model. I am guessing you have luclin if you got this spell, and just turn on Vah Shir models to get the "real" model (from what youve said it is either the panther or a black-furred leopard). Hope that helps!
While this is probably a good thought, I'm not sure it's true. I have all models on and a guildie of mine ALWAYS has a different body and head (she chose the Siamese and her head is Siamese, but her body is Tiger...also she can NEVER get her pant grahics to stick)...everyone see that it's different, not just me, not just her. She's contacted EQ quite a few times and even they say they don't know what the problem is. Now, like I said, your idea seems perfectly sound, but I doubt everyone in our guild has their vah shir models off. Have you come up with any other possible solutions? We'd love to figure this out.

There is a reason why the head is not the same color as the rest of the body:
Let's say you're a Human Enchanter with face #06 selected. When you use the illusion, the game finds it's racial equivalent in the Vah Shir model. This is the same for all races.
Now, the reason your Vah Shir body does not match your head is because you are wearing a ROBE. Since the race currently does not support robe graphics, the game will display DEFAULT "naked" graphics for the rest of the body. This has nothing to do with Luclin graphics turned on, and is not a bug on anyone's system. If you want a Vah Shir with fully matching body and head, then you will need a tunic. There are a few caster tunics in the game that can accomplish this, though most of them are far less powerful than robes. If you're raid-oriented, get Xegony's Vest of Phoenix Feathers. It's a caster tunic, VERY powerful, and will allow you *never* to have a DEFAULT "naked" body, as all races support leather tunic graphics.

is it a good spell please tell.
Well besides changing your faction with NPC's it does nothing. But since Vashir don't hate anyone by default and nobody goes to Sharval anyway, it's useless. Once I'm at that level I will puurchase it just cause I want every spell at every level (I'm crazy like that) but you don't even get a safe fall skill. That's beat!!!

I was just thinking that, but as a bsty main, I know Shar Vahl up and down. I still go there on my chanty sometimes when I need to find something that I haven't been to in Felwithe. Regardless, it's not like I'm KoS anyway... since they start as indifferent, all it takes is my generic faction spell if I wanted to be amiable.

Spell drops off of the assasin in Ssra Temple
The assasin drops a Rogue/Bard mask with Illusion VahShir as an effect. He doesn't drop the scroll for Illusion VahShir.
