Call to corpse is the nec AA that summons corpse regeantless. it goes like this.
Summon Lesser Corpse-up to lvl35, black coffin Summon Corpse-All lvls, Jade Inlaid Coffin Conjure corpse-All lvls, Tiny Jade Inlaid Coffin (Conjure Corpse is same as last one, but tiny jade inlaids are much cheaper, and can be put in bags, so it is upgrade.) Call to Corpse(AA, not a spell)-All lvls, no regeant.
If anyone could Please answer these questions it would be really helpfull

Oh, and it's kind of mentioned in previous posts, but I figured I would make this clear. A few have posted that this is an AA ability and it is, for Necromancers. The corpse summon spell that should be listed here is Summon Corpse. That is the spell that drops off Ishva Mal and the Widemouths.
The snake is called Gaduladian Widemouth. In an hour and a half of camping, the spell dropped twice. The snakes are all the way in the back of the zone, in the large lake. They do not spawn in the small one. Be sure to bring an item with Enduring Breath on it if you can't cast the spell yourself. You're gonna be doin quite a bit of swimming. Good luck!
With all summon corpse spells you need to target the player with them in your group or the spell will not work. You are casting on the player not the corpse unlike a rez. Also all summon spells will summon the nearest corpse of the targeted player to you when you cast. This particular "spell" is actually an AA ability for self only componentless summon. Hope this helps
Yep. This listing is for the AA ability. Summon Corpse, the sk 51, necro 39 spell isnt even listed in the search. it is uses 700 mana and the 22p coffins, Jade Inlaid Coffins i think
With this spell if a player has 2 corpses in the zone do they have to loot the first corpse summoned first before you can summon again?? Will it just summon the first corpse again? This happened to me the other night and had to wait on the cleric, thankfully i had reagant conservation and saved a coffin. Anyone know if the player has to be looting his corpse or if the other corpse has to be totally gone? Any info would be appreciated.
Dunno about this spell PERSONALLY< but withthe lower level that is the case. Best bet then is to have cleric ready. There are another possibility, though FAR more annoying/time consuming.
If you ahve a general idea where the corpse is, you must summon one to one end of the zone. THEN move into the zone so you are closer to the second corpse than the first, and summon, then drag.
A second possibility is to either have someone else, or yourself use a spell to locate the corpse, but just make sure you are not targeting the original ((If other, have them target then assist)), and then cast the spell. That SHOULD work.
Neither are tested, but ideas. Feedback MUCH appreciated.
OK! Came here to get some info on this spell and lo and behold NOTHING! Bunch of useless post's.
First the spell is called Summon Corpse lvl 51 for SK, 39 for Necro. Second it is dropped by "The Ishva Mal a 30 min spawn that conned dark blue to 51, has a PH call Lenht Ishva Gnoll ( or something really close to that, forgot to write that down).
There is a guard in the room with the Place holder. Place holder has a pet by the way and seems once you kill this guard and ph guard does not respawn or did not for me in the hour and half I camped this room. You get to this room by a tunnel that is under water and go to the east room far back left room. Drops spell everytime along with brain that is used in Paineel quest for cleric shield. GL to all SK's who have to camp this as i could not find this spell on any vendor that will sell to Iksar SK. The posted spell name here is not a AA ability as far as I know, but hey i am probably wrong that and sure one of you worthless flamers will tell me so :-) Camp it, it is well worth the effort. Really comes into use when you die deep in a zone with no rogue around to help.
PS. By the way Reagent III does not mean you will not use a reagent IE coffin in this case, just give you a chance and a damn slim one in this case of not using a reagent, probably 1 out of a 1000 casts you will not use a reagent.
I'm a level 65 Enchanter, have several friends that play necros. I have farmed this spell for them has well has for sale. So to answer your question the High Level lotting rule in not in effect.
Also I got the spell off of one of the Guard just in front of Ishva Mal's room. It has happened only one time.
NO need to camp long spawns for this spell.... It drops from the water snakes in the zone :) it is an uncommon drop from them... but alot easier to get then most people think :) It is not a myth... It is not a fluke... I personally farm this spell. Enjoy it !! and oh yeah... who's yur daddy =)
one more thing... I don't know if the high level looting rule is in effect in this zone or not... so high levels might not be able to farm. I got the spell to drop at least 5 times at level 48 from the snakes.
This is not a flame... Just a broadcast of the emergency gnome information act!
Call To Corpse Spell is an AA but TODAY! I got Lesser Summon Corpse spell from Ishva Mal ..he's in Splitpaw!!!. Im a LvL 49 Necro right now i think the Loc is 715, -450, 36 hour spawn. This spell takes a Jade Inlaid Coffins. If this helps any u have to jump into the water when u c waterfalls adn go in an under water passage way on the left side as if ur running from Enterance. When u Surface go into the doors and roam around hes Protected by to Guards outside the room and a Nisch Val Guard inside with Ishva Mal. At lvl 49 he was Dark Blue Con!!! i Hope this helps those of u looking for the spell
It's simply a lower level summon corpse spell, and yes it's called "call to corpse". It takes jade inlaid coffins to use, (unstackable expensive ones). The regular summon corpse you get later uses the tiny, stackable, cheaper coffins to use. Both spells will summon up to level 65 toons, not just yourself. I have a 55 sk that i use this spell to summon other peeps with. It is NOT an AA spell. It DOES use a component. It DOES drop in split paw. Hope this helps.
I take it back, it's called summon corpse not call to corpse. =p Rest of my info is correct though =) The higher level spell is called "Conjure Corpse". Pft I'll shaddup now.
they are 2 seperate spells, you are telling us how to get summon corpse. call to corpse is regeant free and mana free. from what i heard it is not an aa either.. y would you get it at 39 if it was.. now i kno it is not in split paw.. so how does on get this spell.. I hope this helps.. yours truely 41's necromancer, Drucylla Vampyress Of Veshaan server
According to Prima's EQ spell book this is a self-only (no component) level 39 nec spell (which the data here supports). Then there's 'Summon Corpse' spell which is the use-on-anyone equivelent. however, all these posts seem to discuss the 'Summon Corpse' version of the spell and even suggess this one was renamed to summon corpse. Caster's realm doesn't even list this spell (by this name anyway).
So does anyone know the real deal on the 'Call to Corpse' spell? Or is 'Summon Corpse' a replacement (or rename) and there is no longer a self-only version?
Call to Corpse is a self-only, manaless, reagent-free version of Summon Corpse. They are two different spells, but if you get wiped out in a deep dungeon raid and have your body lodged between Lord Nagafen's Toes, you will thanks your dark gods for this spell :)
Can anyone tell me why this spell is any better than Lesser summon corpse? It seems they do the same thing and the lesser spells coffin is much cheaper. Can anyone let me in on the seceret?
The spell is dropped in Paw in South Karana. The mob that drops it is hidden by a underwater tunnel that you must find then get out of water and be ready for a caster. He was blue to me at 54.
I took my lvl 54 Beast to get this spell for my lvl 39 Necro, was DB. He went down easy but there are 3 - 5 other mobs that you have to get through all at once to camp him. I had another melee and a cleric come and help me.
allright i have really tryed not to ask for help to find this spell but i will now plz guys where the f.... is it .i have run all ovewr the place heheh
This spell is a life saver. Has anyone ever died in very deep water or a toon levying over lava and dropped? Well u could be a life and item saver with this spell. I have seen people pay up to 1k to get corpse recovery in lava and in the deep waters in certain zones. How else would they get it? Well this spell is well worth buying (if it is for sale) and I will assure u that if u spend 175pp on the coffin to help someone out of a fix they will never forget it, especially if u do it for just the price of the coffin. In closing I recommend all sks to carry at least 1 coffin and have this spell in the spellbook never know when it could come in handy!
I cannot be sure, but I believe the name was changed to Summon Corpse. Not to be confused with Lesser Summon Corpse. Summon Corpse is a drop spell, located on Ishva Mal, in the bottom of Split Paw, (Infected Paw). It is also dropped off the Galadulian Widemouths, (sp?), in the same general area.
The reagent for the spell is a Jade Inlaid Coffin, not to be confused with the Tiny Jade Inlaid Coffin, (Stackable). My cost for the full size coffin was 175pp. You will need to target the victim to cast the spell, while in the zone the corspe is in.
Hope that helps!

If you're going to be doing a lot of corpse summoning, get a Runed Mithril Bracer which has Reagent Conservation III on it. With luck, you'll end up using a few less coffins then you otherwise would have. Just make sure to equip the RMB before you start summoning, if it glows then the spell didn't use a coffin for that summons.
Two +25 CHA mugs also go a long ways towards making those coffins as cheap as possible. With a CHA of 105 and Indifferent+ faction, the reagents should only cost 145-150pp instead of 175pp.
