And if so, with what resist numbers did it consistently keep you from getting hit by it?

No resistable per se (-1000) but you can hide from it if you don't need LOS or melee proximity. So the healers can be hidden behind a pillar, but the damage casters and melee will be vulnerable.

Mages can hide behind pillar or walls, as long as they cast Bolt spell line. I have this from personal experience killing mobs like Grieg with thier nasty AoE spells.

Resist: Unresistable (-1000)
Around 350 is about a for sure resist every time so if it's -1000 resist 1350 disease resist on you will block it. :p It's unimaginable but still so was 400 in all resists unbuffed back in original EQ...

not only is it unimaginable, its impossible, ressists are capped at 500
600 now but still impossible /nod
