I would like to take a minute and welcome everyone to your new server..."The Tribunal". As you know, effective 21 April 2005, the Ayonae Ro server will be merged with The Tribunal server. I know many of you are upset at the move, but let me assure you, The Tribunal is a great server with tons of warm and friendly folks. We look forward to meet you and helping in any way we can. If you are looking for a guild, let me suggest the Everwalkers guild. It is a "family" type guild that frequently groups and does weekly raids. We are allied with 4 other guilds for raiding purposes and always have a great time. Again, just wanted to welcome you all.....Good Luck and Be Safe....Retlaw of the 58th year.

Heya. I haven't played EQ since February of this year, and all my characters were on Ayonae Ro. I was just wondering if the server is still as popular as it was back then, or has it gone downhill?

I just started on this server, I'm a human ranger. On the server select screen if you click on rank by population, it always seems to be near the top. So I guess its still pretty popular :)

I was just wondering how close the prices listed on the items here are to Ayonae Ro. Is there a big difference, or are they fairly close? I am greatful for any help. =)

I realize of course that SH is a new server and an expensive service but after playing on it for several weeks now i have a couple of hopefully non biased observations. Its empty, theres one . My Druid ported around Norath and Luclin today to find the most populated zone being LOIO with 9 people. Sad ! It wasnt only distressing to find the lack of players on but everywhere i went everyone was so quiet. It was almost like they realized they made a dreadful error transfering there characters and were all trying to figure out how to solo their perspective classes. Every where i went i heard the same such and such level cleric LFG ..*pin-drop* poor things... No auctions,no shouts, nothing. Next the " enhanced GUI, character info page, guild info page, mapping system and basically everything else advertised as enhancements are all web based not game based. Either i didnt pick that little tid-bit up when i applied, or they mis-advertised hey im not to proud to admit when im wrong but the from the first 10 minutes im on the server till now im in disbelief Verants execs are charging 40.00$ U.S.for essentially the exact same experience you would have on any of the other servers.. And lets face it thats where we spend most of our time right playing the game. I was on this weekend to experience some of the events they advertise as an added feature, only problem was 3/4 of the ones i heard advertised were for 40+ characters. The other was a raid in on Gnolls for 25-40 again i was non-plussed. There are ive been told 19 full time GMs on duty although i doubt youd need them , the "kiddies" cant afford the 40 bucks so the usual bad taste issues arent a problem and since theres noone there 90 % of the time the usual player/player conflicts dont occur. Finally after doing a bunch of who alls ive noticed mostly high level guilded players, which makes me wonder if this was somekind of retirement home server for lvl 50s and up ? Id like to hear from some of you guys and youre thoughts on this matter. Before anyone tells me that the server is Run on PST i live in SoCal :)If someone is wondering wether or not to tranfer their char. and dish out the extra $ my advice is dont do it unless youre a Nec, otherwise buy lotsa bandages and give Minesquel a tell when youre in game .. thanks all
Lol...actually, Stormhammer served as something of a "retirement home" for a guildy of mine -- or at least a month-long respite from Xegony.
He posted on our guild message board about some of the events that were scheduled to take place, and I was immediately hit by something: Verant was publicly announcing when the events would happen, ahead of time. I've been to my share of GM events, and they're usually quite entertaining; the problem is finding out about them and traveling to them before they're all over. Verant has a standing policy of not announcing events ahead of time in any way, because they're afraid (and rightly so) that hundreds of players would converge on them.
With the limited population of Stormhammer, however, this doesn't appear to be a concern. People are made aware of events well ahead of time, and everyone still has an opportunity to participate.
You have to take into consideration that on at least some older servers, the lower level characters are primarily alts of players with post-50 characters. Because there are so many veterans, EverQuest has evolved into what some affectionately know as "raid quest." Stormhammer, even more than other servers, has a disproportionate population of high level characters, so it's only natural that its environment be tailored to meet the needs of that majority.
As for the GM's, don't underestimate their utility. This game still has bugs in it, and the fact that you don't see them very frequently just makes them all the more virulent when they do appear. When something goes horribly wrong, you turn to the GM's to intercede and make reparations. Guides are simply not equipped to deal with most such situations; you need to speak with the server GM himself about item reimbursements and the like, for example.

Ok ..I am looking for someone that is on terra marr sever that wants to come to the aeyonae Ro server. i have lots of items that i would like to get to terra marr where my characters are are.. so to do this there are 2 ways.. either you have the same item as i do ..and we can give each other the items to our new character that we make on the new server we will be swapping to, or if you have the plat to buy the item you gimme plat for item on the server your on and i give you the item for the server i am on that you want to come to. we can do it the same way for the items if you have what i have. I am Submiting this document to help all of you level 14-16 level up really fast.
Ok, get a group of however many people you would like, Try to get a bard and a cleric, the best couple for this, and go to befallen. Zone.
And when you go in immedietly turn at the first right and hug the wall. Kill the follower, and go into the room to the first right. There will be a long hall, that will be your medding hall, were you restore Hp and Mana. When you are done medding, Go down the rest of the hall and take a right, keep going and you will see a skeleton type thing called a Raised Servant. kill it and medd if you have to in the medding hall, but if not just turn directly around, and go into the door to your right and go straight for the Dark Follower, then the Defiled corpse, Then the skeleton type thingy called the Raised Servant. Medd in the Medding Hall if you have to, and go through the other door. and inside will be a Raised servant, and two defiled corpses. Kill them and go to the medding hall for about 5 minutes or untill everything pops again.
Each one of these are a route and each sould give you about half a bubble untill level 16. Keep doing this and believe me it is worth it. In barely any time (about one half our or so) i made it from level 14 to 16. REALLY GOOD EXP!!!
