My Rog has 252 poison skill , Poisonmastery 3 AA,
gearlock,305 dex agi str sta, and had kei, and still has faile the combine 8 times. something need revamp on random fails.

you now need a min of 215 in a skill to attepmt a Grandmaster item. My Mage (200 Jewelcraft) my Rogue (203 Poison) cannot attempt the Combine..it telle me just that, "you are too inexperienced to try such a combine". However my Ragner at 215 with Geerlocks made his GM Fletchers knife on his 1st attempt.<My Rogue at 214 w/geerlok cannot do combine yet..>

I have noticed some poisons are like spell cast instead of apply. When casting these poisons my Apply poison skills do not seem to advance? Oh and a big pointer to those, get KEI when practicing make poison have advanced from 36 to 156 in less than 2 hours spent on make poison, -3kp lmfao..

Ok, my little Rogue is currently level 39. Those of you in the know have probably already figured out that his max possible Make Poison skill right now is 200. I can't get any better than that until I hit level 51. Well...being eager to have my GMAS by level 46, I decided to give a go at making this thing. At Make Poison skill of 200, plus a Geerlok in hand, I successfully made this Grandmaster Assassin's Vial tonight. It took me five attempts. Hope that helps. As for me, well, I'm just so proud I don't know what to do next! 8D

Will this combine succede with a skill less than 250
I currently have a 255 dex unbuffed and a 211 poison making.... As an added question what is cheapest combine to get skill to 250 and is it level restricted over level 50 ( IE 205@51 210@52 and so forth)

As an added question what is cheapest combine to get skill to 250 Easiest by far is Spirit of Sloth as all componentry is available in PoK, each combine costing about (1.5+1.5+2.6+vial) 9-14 plat per, depending on your ability to make vials. Sells back for about 5.5pp. Cheapest? Something with all drops/crafting like Mental Implosion.

Made 2 of these all told. Had a 1/2 success on the first one, and a 1/3 success on the second one. That was with a 250 Make Poison skill and a 3% mod item, and ... oh, abouts 160-190 dexterity. /shrug
