You can buy better pants, stat wise with only a few hundred LDoN points. That more or less makes this quest a non-starter IMO.

the real value is in the clickable pet buff, which frees up a spell slot and saves mana

Just thought I'd add this since I was looking up the gems I need for them. The torn silk drops off the harder giants (usually Adjutants for us casters) in Kael. Arena, and King Tormax area yield the most drops. Although, my sleeves dropped, if you can believe it, in the pit past the first bridge. The gems can be found on MANY Velious MOBs from WL, CS, WW, SG, Icewell, and possibly VL and other zones.

Legs can be found on the 53+ Giants in Keal. As well as the rest of our armor

Got 3 Nephrite from the Wyvern in Cobalt Scar. No idea where the Torn Enchanted Silk stuff is dropped yet though. Rumored to be in PoG
