got robe off one and boots off the next but i passed on boots cause i had boots of flowing slime already

Are you sure you dont need Ally faction? I wouldnt do it unless i were Maxed faction. Probly take 100 giants or so to get from kindly to ally.

I have this robe and considering I upgraded from a FBCR I'm pretty happy!
You get this robe with a combination of faction, the gems and the torn enchanted silk robe drop.
Faction: You need to be at least KINDLY with the dwarves of Thurg. Don't let anyone tell you different, I did this quest and my gloves quest at KINDLY.
Pristine Emeralds: You can buy them (3-4k everytime I priced them on Veeshan) or hunt for them in Sirens Grotto (off sirens), Dragon Necr(off those little rat fellows) or Velks (not sure which drops). Unfortunatly none of these are very easy kills.
Torn Enchanted Silk Robe: As mentioned earlier this drops of high level mobs in KAEL. I got mine hunting named giants in the Arena.

Drops off of high level giants in Kael near the arena. You will need alot of help or join a Kael raid hoping it drops AND you win the roll.

I will be searching for the quest pieces for this robe!!! It is very nice...all other Thurg Wizard armor stinks IMHO!!!!

You've got to be kidding me. The gloves are awesome, the sleeves are pretty good, and so is the head. I definitely wouldn't say that +9 int gloves with other stats as well stink.
What does your faction need to be to complete this line of Quests. My faction is Amiable to Mauren and she still tells me I must do more for their cause before she will tell me the information. I really figured Amiable would do the trick.

There is an identical robe with a differant name that drops on POG all the stats are identical.
Its called Sorcerer's Robe, it drops off Tunare and another named in PoG.

The torn enchanted silk comes off of high level giants waaaay deep in Kael...
I have seen some gems (Flawed and chipped, no crushed, flawless, or pristine though) drop off wyverns in Cobalt scar

I have gotten Flawless, imperfect, chipped and flawed but no prestine of crused in CS and Ive quad kited wyverns for over 2 lvls now...have about 45 total gems for armor quests.

I think the states will be around the same, if not exactly the same as the Enchanter's Velium Robe. It's definitely much much better than the Bone Caster Robe.

OMG have been trying like crazy searching every freaking EQ site I can find to see what drops the Enchanted Armor alone........And NO ONE KNOWS.now a gem is needed and NO ONE KNOWS what drops this gem or how to get it, gah.

That silk drops off of 55+ stuff...deep in ice well is a good place to look.
I guess some people have completed this quest already? Its been rated, but still does not have a "reward" shown. So if you have beaten it please share.
Most of these rewards, at least the enchanter ones I have seen, are of a planes level item. So I am sure alot of folks are gonna be searching for em.
