Just did this with a boxed 115 Mage and 114 Ranger, Mage at the top of hill to trigger Rikki, Ranger waiting below to FlusterBuster.
Got 6 lavabombs without too much hassle but the Megabomb was a bit trickier.
I soon realised that the mage pet was buzzing around randomly in the air, not engaging the blob at the base of the hill where Ranger was.
Moved mage down to blob, Fluffy was happier and we DPSed it fine.

116 shaman with a 114 warrior, very much a problem, i even tried virulent paralysis and that did absolutely nothing. We could only get the megabomb down to 42%. Called in general chat for help, and got a 120 monk and 120 mage needless to say we got it.

I was able to complete the final fight with the megabomb with a 120 Druid and a 119 Monk, with the Monk using his Dragon Force knockback AA (level 59) every 6 seconds to keep repositioning the goo. It would retrace its path to the point where it was pushed from then start moving again. The Monk wasn't able to do enough damage on his own, though he got the first attempt down to 20%, but when I tossed in a slew of Druid dots, the goo went down easily.

the lavabombs keep coming until you kill six of them. the Lavamensers come one at a time, if you do not kill it, you must repeat step11. Chanter's Beguiler's Directed Banishment aa is only thing that holds them back, you can get one Lavabomb per cycle and the Lavamenser with pet and some chanter DODs, mercs do not attack and targeting is hard when you box. Beguiler's Directed Banishment pushes them back for a bit but not long.

Everything in this task was a breeze as a 110 ranger. Wurmslayer blocked all damage from the burrowers, and spamming Fluster/Bluster on the bombs kept them locked nicely in place on the plateau where they spawned. They don't add to your hatelist (as noted previously), which meant permanent out of combat regen. Poison Arrows, Dicho, Bonecrawler Swarm, and cycling through archery spells was a comfortable rotation and good DPS. Just about everything else could be rooted and headshot.

I stood my casters on the rock on the ledge of the cliff and chain nuked and sent in pets. I had my chanter stand down the hill and chain the AA: Beguiler's Directed Banishment. This allowed me to keep the mob essentially at a stand still while the pets/nukes killed it. I think I could prevent it from hitting the wall forever with this strategy.

Worked perfectly, the Enchanter part is key. This is a horrible event it wouldn't add the any of the lava mobs to my extended target window so was super hard to keep it on my targets list with boxes. This helped so freaking much. Pets and just chained the aa until it was dead.

Perfect strat! I only had my wife's chanter (group and conflagrant gear) so it took a couple attempts. I set up facing away from the wall and just cast banishment, dot, banishment, nuke, etc. with her dps discs running. Took a while, but it worked. I started banishing before it was halfway down the cliff wall. Thanks for the info!

Rangers can Flusterbolt and Blusterbolt Mega Lavabomb.

Also if you fail on the Mega Lavabomb just hail Rikki`ti Crikk`t and it'll reset to step 11 and the Syldon Lavamancers will attack.

Siege lavabombs spawn two at a time and keep on coming until you kill 6 of them. When they reach the tower they explode. You must kill before they reach the tower. They don't come up on extended target. Mercs do NOT attack them. Used chanter to bop them back. Shammy VP doesn't really work. Have nukes up and any extra pets you can get on them. Just work on one at a time and don't worry about the other. We set up at bottom by the tower.

Mega Lavabomb needs chanter to continually bop back. Has tons of HP. Use pets, Merc's do nothing!

This target requires enormous DPS to kill. Not snareable, not rootable, not mezzable. Mercs might not attack as I don't recall it hitting extended target list.

      Thanks, added.
