I did this task on 12/18/2013. was double faction special day. I completed a previous task which showed my faction standing at 3178. Then I killed Cobalt. After doing this task it was 3602. I did kill rockspine as one of the 10. Will see what happens when I repeat. but for now - the task gains 434 points. ( 9 mobs + 2 named + task completion).
Edit : 2nd time I did task I went from 3918 to 4242. I killed 9 trash + rockspine and task completion plus I got banescale serpent. need more data.
Edit : 3rd time , killed 7 normal grendliens and 3 matrons. no names. went from 4242 to 4368. 126 on double faction so 63 normal.
Edit : just like with wyverns, I had a good idea. I got this task, killed 9 worntooth, then did another task to get faction to 5248. went back and killed 1 regular worntooth and faction jumped to 5350. that's 102 points for task + 1 kill. So I am thinking the task is worth 100 points and were not doubled for double faction day. and each kill is worth 2 points for normal worntooth grendlaens which were doubled for faction day. but looking back that doesn't work out for previous tasks. what does work is if the task is worth 50, reg mobs worth 1 and double faction was not ended at midnight and was still in effect when I did this. then the 2nd edit shows 100 for task, 14 for 7 normal and 12 for the 3 matrons. which means: task is worth 50, normal worntooth grendlaenorth 1 and matrons worth 2.

This is a kill task that begins with Master Hunter Jilare (map in Shard's Landing. She is found at 245, 20, 1 (in the crater, southwest of the crystal shard). Pre-Requisites: - Level 85 - Completed "Welcome to Shard's Landing" You say, 'Hail, Master Hunter Jilare' Master Hunter Jilare sighs, 'Well I guess the management sees fit to keep you around here but I work 'with' them and not 'for' them. You're going to have to prove yourself to 'me'. I have a list of errands that need completing if you're ready to get to [work].' You say, 'What work?' Master Hunter Jilare says 'Here's what I need done. Don't go getting yourself killed on the job.' A task window pops up and offers nine tasks. You have been assigned the task 'The Worntooth'. Master Hunter Jilare is looking for raw materials strong enough to break down the smaller fear crystals that the harbingers are collecting. She believes the rocklike quality of grendlaen bones will do just fine. Seek out the large pack of worntooth grendlaen and lay a few of them to rest. Try not to break your equipment on their hides in the process. Harvest the bones of the Worntooth grendlaen 0/10 (Shard's Landing) Note: Grendlaens are found north of the crater.
