PHASE ONE: Setup & Triggering the Event

In the zone-in area, you'll see three colored pads: Green, White, and Red. Split the raid into three and have the groups stand on their assigned pads before triggering the event. In a full raid, you'll want a tank group and two DPS groups in each split. The mobs you'll encounter here are mezzable, so you may want at least one mezzer on each pad.

Hail the Towerguard to initiate the event.

You say, 'Hail, Towerguard Raena'

Towerguard Raena says 'I warned you not to trespass, and now you'll pay the price with your life.' In an unaffected tone Raena calls out to her unseen allies, 'Guards! Prepare to send these prisoners into holding while they await judgment.' The towerguard doesn't flinch as she delivers her final warning. 'Gather in the holding areas, and the guards will escort you to your cells. Those who fail to comply will meet a swift death.''

NOTE: This starts a 6-minute timer.

Three non-combative named mobs approach the area. Once they reach the pads, everyone is ported into the maze.

PHASE ONE: The Maze

Upon being ported into the maze, a spell (called what?) lands on everyone, but doesn't seem to do anything.

From there, the three groups need to work their way through the maze. You go from room to room by clicking on the doors:

- Red travels East, North, West, East, East, South, South.
- White travels East, East, South, West, North, South, North.
- Green travels West, East, North, West, East, South, South.

Some maze rooms have 1 or 2 rotdogs in them. These have to be killed in order to progress past that room. They hit for a max ~17,500 and are mezzable. They don't have too many hitpoints.

a flesh howler draws its lips back into a snarl before lunging toward you!

a flesh howler has been slain by _____!
a flesh howler's corpse spasms violently before dropping to the floor.

You hear a distant click, as if a door in another room has been unlocked.

Upon reaching the last room, you'll see these emotes:

A door in the meeting room unlocks, allowing you to escape and seek out The Executioner.

You have entered the meeting room.

Make your way out into the hallway and wait for The Executioner, a spectre who slowly makes his way towards the hallway from the zone-in area.

NOTE: The Executioner must be engaged within six minutes of hailing Towerguard Raena, otherwise every living player in the zone gets death touched:

The Executioner has arrived!

The Executioner grins as he helps another life finds its way to death.
You have been judged. You have taken 104000 points of damage.
You have been knocked unconscious!
You have been slain by The Executioner!

PHASE ONE: The Executioner

The Executioner hits for a max ~22,000 (does not rampage or flurry). He casts the spells "Judgment", "Punishment", and "Execution":

Judgment: PB AE 200', Magic (-710)
1: Decrease Hitpoints by 31700
2: 100% Chance to trigger: Phantom Shackles (95% snare for 1 tick)

Punishment: PB AE 70', Magic (-710)
1: Adjust Mana (-7200)
2: Silence

Execution: Single Target, Unresistable (-710)
1: Decrease Hitpoints by 121000

You'll see this emote flash up on your screen as he casts "Judgment":

The Executioner begins his judgment.

In addition, every 30 seconds, he hits six random targets with "Marked for Death":

Marked for Death: Single Target, Magic (-710)
1: Increase Curse Counter by 25
2: Decrease Movement by 100%

If this isn't cured within 10 seconds, the inflicted target gets death touched.

Kill the Executioner to progress the event.

The Executioner has been slain by _____!
The Executioner shrivels into a tiny pile of rags and dust.

Towerguard Raena shouts with rage, 'You will not escape punishment! Come before me and meet your demise.'

All living players and all corpses are warped back to the zone-in.

PHASE TWO: Setup & Triggering the Event

The second phase of the event takes place in the zone-in area. Mobs will spawn at the west and east doors and aggro the raid.

You can take as much time as you need to set up here (there is no despawn timer). This is also the new reset point for the event and will remain so as long as you keep the expedition open.

Once ready, hail the Towerguard to trigger the next phase of the event.

You say, 'Hail, Towerguard Raena'

Towerguard Raena glowers down at you, trying to mask her disbelief with disgust. 'Defeating the Executioner doesn't mean you've escaped punishment. There are many dwelling within these walls that are willing to dispose of trespassers.' Towerguard Raena inclines her head to the northwest with a silent grin.

PHASE TWO: The Watcher

A short time after triggering the event, a shade called "The Watcher" appears at the west doorway. It hits for a max ~22,000 (does not flurry or rampage) and casts the spells "Lurid Gaze" (every 25 seconds) and "Inner Fear":

Lurid Gaze: Targeted AE 25', Magic (-710)
1: Silence
2: Decrease HP when cast by 42900
3: Amnesia (Silence vs Melee Effect)
4: Increase Curse Counter by 25

Inner Fear: Self 0', Unresistable (-710)
1: Increase Chance to Reflect Spell by 60%
2: Increase Attack Speed by 40%
3: 100% Chance to trigger: Inner Fear

It spawns two sets of adds: One when it reaches about 75% health and a second set at about 25%. Each add set consists of 4x "a stealthy assassin" which hit for a max ~17,500 (no rampage or flurry; unstunnable; unmezzable).

a stealthy assassin emerges from the shadows.

a stealthy assassin has been slain by _____!
a stealthy assassin's corpse fades into the shadows from where it came.

Kill the Watcher to trigger the next named spawn.

The Watcher has been slain by _____!
The Watcher's corpse lets out an unbearable stench that permeates the surrounding air.

Towerguard Raena clenches her fists with restrained frustration and calls to the raid, 'Leave this area at once! Do you really wish to continue testing your luck? Master Hemlock will not be merciful.' With the slightest of movements, the distraught guard gestures toward the west end of the tower.

PHASE TWO: Master Hemlock

A short time after The Watcher dies, Master Hemlock spawns along with 2x "a royal guard". The royal guards appear at the west doorway while Master Hemlock spawns at the east doorway.

You'll want to kill the guards first as the longer they are alive, the stronger Hemlock gets. You'll occasionally see this emote:

Master Hemlock draws upon the power of his royal guards.

The guards hit for a max ~20,000 (no flurry or rampage). They don't cast any AEs.

a royal guard has been slain by _____!
a royal guard's corpse flutters to the ground lifelessly.

Master Hemlock hits for a max ~22,500 (no flurry or rampage). Every 30 seconds, he casts the spell "Reduction" on six random targets:

Reduction: Single Target, Magic (-710)
1: Decrease Attack Speed by 60%
2: Decrease HP when cast by 39003
3: Adjust Mana (-5300)
4: 100% Chance to trigger: Shrink

In addition, every 40 seconds, he casts the spell "Surge of Light":

Surge of Light: PB AE 50', Unresistable (-710)
1: Decrease Endurance by 1209
2: Decrease Mana by 4320
3: Decrease Hitpoints by 29200
4: 100% Chance to trigger: Banishment

The "Banishment" portion of this AE will cause you to be pushed around the room.

NOTE: As long as the royal guards are alive, this AE is cast more frequently.

Kill Master Hemlock to progress the event.

Master Hemlock has been slain by _____!
Master Hemlock's corpse falls stiffly to the floor, riddled with wounds and lacerations.

Towerguard Raena takes a step back hesitantly, shaking off any trace of lingering worry from her face. 'This has gone on long enough! You will not be allowed entry; the Lawman will make sure of that.' Arms folded with tension, the wavering guard shouts one last warning. 'You brought this on yourself, remember.'

PHASE TWO: Lawman Rurk

A short time after Master Hemlock dies, Lawman Rurk appears at the west doorway. Lawman Rurk hits for a max ~24,000 (no flurry or rampage). One of his AEs is "Dismissal" (hits numerous targets at once):

Dismissal: Single Target, Magic (-710)
1: 30% Chance to trigger: Touch of Terror
2: Decrease Hitpoints by 29475 per tick

Touch of Terror: Single Target, Magic (-710)
1: Fear up to level 100
2: Increase Curse Counter by 20

In addition, every 31 seconds, Lawman Rurk hits four random targets with the spell "Lawman's Blight":

Lawman's Blight: Single Target, Disease (-710)
1: Increase Disease Counter by 25
2: Decrease Hitpoints by 26500 per tick
3: Trigger Phantom Sap on Curer
4: Trigger Plagued Mutation on Fade

If this isn't cured within 6 seconds, it goes viral on everyone within 40' of the inflicted target.

If this wears off naturally, the effect "Plagued Mutation" takes over (mana DOT, snare, melee/spell slow):

Plagued Mutation: Self 0', Unresistable (-710)
1: Decrease Spell Haste by 30%
2: Illusion: Unknown(612)
3: Decrease Mana by 1722 per tick
4: Decrease Attack Speed by 98%
5: Decrease Movement by 95%

If this is cured, the cure caster gets inflicted with "Phantom Sap" (1-tick silence, melee slow, DD for 31,000 dmg):

Phantom Sap: Single Target, Magic (-700)
1: Decrease Hitpoints by 19300 per tick
2: Decrease Endurance by 3600 per tick
3: Unknown #386 (100/24577/0)

He also spawns two large waves of adds: One at about 65% health and a second set at around 25% health. These adds are a mix of "a plagued mosquito" (mezzable) and "a mutated gnat" (unmezzable). You can either kill them or keep them kited/mezzed.

You'll see this emote when they're about to appear:

Gnats and mosquitoes begin to swarm around you.

Killing Lawman Rurk completes the event. There is a delay of several seconds before any remaining adds despawn, but they do despawn.

Lawman Rurk has been slain by _____!
Lawman Rurk's corpse twitches on the floor in a bloody heap.

With the realization that all of her reinforcements have been destroyed, Towerguard Raena shouts in desperation, 'I concede! Pass through the tower if you wish, but I'm not sticking around to witness the bloodshed.'

An ornate chest spawns nearby with loot.
