Mansion Event: Seneschal Bargangle Tinkerson

This is an event within the raid expedition into Meldrath's Majestic Mansion. It involves a gnome - Seneschal Bargangle Tinkerson - in a giant steamsuit, and his several minions.
The event takes place in the "Steam Stage Room" of the mansion and is triggered by aggroing Assistant Fudindle outside the room: Assistant Fudindle says 'I'm not much for fighting, but you make me so angry!' He will attack for a few moments. Then... Assistant Fudindle shouts 'Oh my! Oh dear! Invaders! Intruders! Alert! Alert!' Geartop shouts 'Deal with it! Whatever you do, don't open that door. They can't get in unless you open the . . . Idiots. I'm surrounded by fleshy idiots.' The Assistant runs into the room and onto the stage where you'll see Geartop and a host of steamworks and steamsuits. Only the Assistant and Geartop are active (for now). First thing to note: Most mobs in this event are "summoned" - anti-summoned spells work against them. The exceptions are the tinytops and the brownie, Patch. Also, none of the mobs enrage. Geartop shouts 'Now that you're here, let me treat you to the kind of welcome you deserve. The Assistant is easily dispatched. He has no special melee attacks or abilities. Assistant Fudindle has been slain by _____! Assistant Fudindle's corpse says 'Ouch!' Geartop hits for a max ~8,000, summons, flurries, and procs the spell "Piercing Punch": Piercing Punch: Single Target, Unresistable (0) 1: Decrease HP when cast by 6000 2: Decrease Hitpoints by 1000 per tick 3: Increase Curse Counter by 9 He also spawns waves of tinytops (mezzable; these have low hps; gain strength while alive; hit for a max ~6,000 at its strongest), 1-2 at a time: Geartop says 'I need some help, little ones!' a tinytop grows stronger, saying, 'Soon I shall be all grown up!' a tinytop says 'Charge!' Once Geartop reaches 80%, the blue Autonomic Battle System becomes active: Geartop shouts 'Come to me and teach these fools a lesson, my massive cousin!' Autonomic Battle System says 'Unit entering attack mode.' The blue battle system hits for a max ~8,000, summons, single-target rampages, does NOT enrage, and has a LOT of hitpoints. Autonomic Battle System has been slain by _____! Autonomic Battle System's corpse collapses with a loud crash. Once Geartop reaches 60%, the red Autonomic Battle System becomes active: Geartop shouts 'Get over here and knock their blocks off!' Autonomic Battle System says 'Unit entering attack mode.' The red battle system hits for a max ~8,000, summons, AE rampages for full damage, does NOT enrage, and procs the spell Power Thrust: Power Thrust: Targeted AE 50', Unresistable (0) 1: Decrease HP when cast by 5000 2: Decrease Hitpoints by 5000 per tick (3 ticks) 3: Stun(6.00 sec) Autonomic Battle System has been slain by _____! Autonomic Battle System's corpse collapses with a loud crash. Now, you can finish off Geartop. Geartop has been slain by _____! Geartop's corpse falls to pieces with a whine. After Geartop's death, a brownie named Patch spawns on the stage. Seneschal Bargangle Tinkerson spawns in the adjacent room and wanders into the room and onto the stage before becoming attackable. Patch shouts 'Geez boss! You startled me. You made me knock over the box of spirits! All that mana, lost forever. What a waste.' freed spiritual energy begins to cast a spell. (Spiritual Wake) (This is a mana/hp refresher) Seneschal Bargangle Tinkerson shouts 'What is all this racket! Geartop? Did you say you failed? At what? I didn't order you to DO anything!' Seneschal Bargangle Tinkerson shouts 'So, this is what all the noise is about. I suppose even a tinker needs to get some exercise at times. I'll consider you my workout. It's unfortunate that it will be so short!' Seneschal Bargangle Tinkerson shouts 'You shall die here this day. You were fools to try to fight against Meldrath, and I shall prove it to you!' Bargangle attacks. Patch does not attack unless he is hit first. He is killable. He has odd aggro (resetting it frequently) and casts a reflection spell upon himself: Mind of Reflection: Self 0', Unresistable (0) 1: Increase Chance to Reflect Spell by 50% He can also spawn a twin, which doesn't seem to do anything other than heal the original Patch by a slight bit: Patch shouts, 'I come, my twin. You are older than me by only a short while, and my powers are not equal to yours, but I come to your aid. I shall patch you up!' After a short time, he'll stop attacking and move to a random inactive steamwork, and activate it. Patch shouts 'Fly! Be free little death machine!' uncontrollable firestorm shouts 'Invaders discovered. Extermination begins.' uncontrollable geargrinder shouts 'I have been assigned to grind your bones to meal for the guests' next meal.' a steamwork firestorm shouts 'Invaders discovered. Extermination begins.' a steamwork geargrinder shouts 'I have been assigned to grind your bones to meal for the guests' next meal.' Only the steamwork firestorms are mezzable. Uncontrollable firestorms cast the spell "Choking Steam": Choking Steam: PB AE 150', Poison (-500) 1: Decrease HP when cast by 10000 2: Decrease Hitpoints by 2000 per tick 3: Unknown #358 (100/-6000/0) (A mana debuff of some sort) 10: Decrease Mana by 1300 per tick Patch repeats this process as long as he is alive. Whether or not your raid kills Patch is a matter of strategy. Bargangle himself hits for a max ~14,000 and AE rampages for full damage. He is none too happy about your presence and will let you know it through plenty of shouting, often accompanied by weak AEs: Seneschal Bargangle Tinkerson shouts 'So, you came prepared for my powerful magics! But you're not ready for the true power of Fortress Mechanotus! Engaging steam cannons! Enabling full power! Activating heat sheilding! Channeling pneumatic power to armor!' Seneschal Bargangle Tinkerson shouts 'Activating personal battle systems. Prepare to die, scum!' Seneschal Bargangle Tinkerson shouts 'Die! Die in a fire!' Seneschal Bargangle Tinkerson begins to cast a spell. (Firestorm) Seneschal Bargangle Tinkerson shouts 'I now call forth lightning from the machines of this Majestic Mansion itself to blow you apart, pest!' Seneschal Bargangle Tinkerson begins to cast a spell. (Lightning Bolt) Seneschal Bargangle Tinkerson shouts 'My flames shall engulf you all!' Seneschal Bargangle Tinkerson begins to cast a spell. (Pillar of Fire) Seneschal Bargangle Tinkerson shouts 'I have a gift to you from Al Kabor himself! Is it cold enough?!' Seneschal Bargangle Tinkerson begins to cast a spell. (Frost Spiral of Al'Kabor) Seneschal Bargangle Tinkerson shouts 'I shall fry you like an egg!' Seneschal Bargangle Tinkerson begins to cast a spell. (Shock of Lightning) In addition to the above spells (which aren't much of a worry), he casts these spells throughout the fight: Belch of Fire: Directional 200', Fire (-450) 1: Decrease Hitpoints by 18000 Face Slam: Single Target, Unresistable (0) 1: Decrease HP when cast by 2000 2: Decrease Hitpoints by 2000 per tick 3: Blindness(1) Steam Burst: Targeted AE 100', Fire (-450) 1: Decrease Hitpoints by 12000 As his health lowers, he'll begin overheating: Seneschal Bargangle Tinkerson shouts 'My systems are overheating! That's bad news for you because it looks like I'll have to end you quickly! Diverting defensive power to control the heat. Ha! I can use this extra heat as a weapon! How about a little fire?' Seneschal Bargangle Tinkerson begins to cast a spell. (Overheat) Overheat: Self 0', Fire (0) 1: Increase Damage Shield by 200 Seneschal Bargangle Tinkerson shouts 'Aarrrg! The heat! I can't take it much longer!' Seneschal Bargangle Tinkerson begins to cast a spell. (Extreme Overheat) Extreme Overheat: Self 0', Fire (0) 1: Increase Damage Shield by 350 He explodes upon his death: Seneschal Bargangle Tinkerson begins to cast a spell. (Overheat Pulse) Seneschal Bargangle Tinkerson's corpse shouts 'How could this be? Me, killed by the likes of you? Unbelievable!' Seneschal Bargangle Tinkerson has been slain by _____! Barg Death Asplode begins to cast a spell. A minor correction: the "tinytop" mobs are not considered summoned and thus bane spells don't work against them. The rest of the mobs in this event are (except Patch of course).

When the adds appear during the Tinkerson fight this is their names (Uncontrollable Firestorm and Uncontrollable Geargrinder) they are same lvl as the unaggroable ones as far as i have seen. will give more info when i can.

We're working on this right now. I just recently joined the guild that is working on it so i don't have much info (only done it twice) but i have enough to lay out a groundwork of the event and can submit more later on :) In the room (Steam Stage room in MMM) Both of the Battle Suits are standing on the "Stage", Geartop is standing either in front of it or on top of the stage as well can't remember, and there is a number of A Steamwork Geargrinders lined up along the left wall and a Steamwork Firestormers lined up against the wall behind you (this is when facing stage btw). The Battle Suits and Steamwork Geargrinders/Firestormers are non aggroable. You start out with Geartop. Throughout the Geartop fight he will spawn "a tinytop" (which seem to spawn anywhere from 1-3 at a time and on timed intervals) which should be taken care of immediatly. They give off emotes saying things about how small but tough they are etc when they spawn. Also throughout the Geartop fight both Autonimic Battle Systems will "activate" and start to kill you (one at a time starting with Designation Blue then Designation Red). They activate based on time not dmg to Geartop i believe so it is important not to focus dps on Geartop until both Battle Suits are dead. They should be pulled immediatly away from Geartop and burned through asap while someone offtanks Geartop...again they activate one at a time. Once they are dead kill Geartop (there is a certain way that is recommended to do this as well and i will get back to you on how that works when i understand it more haha) Once Geartop is Dead Tinkerson will spawn in the door to the right of you and walk up onto the Stage (he is not aggroable until he stops) and Patch spawns on the Stage as well (he's a brownie). Tinkerson and Geartop's corpse will talk as Tinkerson walks onto the stage..... basically Geartop says he failed and Tinkerson asks what he failed at because he didn't ask him to do anything (will submit specific convo later :)) When engaged there is several ways of doing this. one way we have tried it is have all pet classes in your raid spam pets on Tinkerson to keep him distracted while the raid Kills Patch. The A Steamwork Firestormer and A Steamwork Geargrinder spawns adds (Spawn as Uncontrollable Firestormer and Uncontrollable Geargrinder. the normal A steamwork Geargrinders and a Steamwork Firestormers also activate during this i belive. Again i will get back to you on if they do anything specifically or not such as resist ratings etc.) Tinkerson also has an AE but i can't remember offhand what it is exactly all i remember is it does a crapload of dmg (it took me either to about 10% or direct death when it landed) and it also ONLY hits anyone in front of Tinkerson i believe.
Anyway i know it's not too specific and i know i don't have much info on it other than the very very very basic layout but i hope it helps get a framework and i will post the emotes, AE names and dmg, add effects, timers etc next time we do the event :). Also as a side note i have seen Tinkerson himself hit for a max of about 12.5k dmg melee with an average of oh.... maybe 8-9k and a minimum of about 2k MAYBE 1.5k but i only saw his hits when i died and he hit someone who ran him over me so he could hit harder or weaker but thats the jest of it. Basically this is a complicated event only in the fact that you have to keep people focused, they have to be ready for anything and they can't be dozing off. when Geartop goes down you can med a bit before engaging Tinkerson but hurry cause i'm pretty sure he will despawn and restart event and spawn layout if you wait too long.
