This group task begins with Overvolt Rigster the IV, a gnome in a camp beside a large catapult east of the zone to the Steamfont Mountains. In order to request this task you must have completed the group task Guardian #1: Disposing of Unwanted Things.
After completing the previous task: Overvolt tells you, 'Excellent! I'm sending my salvage bots into the Guardian as we speak to acquire junk steamworks! You might be interested in the next job I've got up for grabs - it entails the [engine room].' You say, 'Engine room?' Overvolt Rigster the IV says `The engine room is a very important area in the Guardian. It provides the locomotive power necessary for the Guardian to travel throughout the Dragonscale Hills. I need you to go there and and get rid of the chief engineer and then to use my Tri-Recording Gizmatron to scan the engine itself and bring me back the schematics. With that technology, I may be able to make better clockworks for my customers!' You have been assigned the task 'Engine Room Schematics'. Receive Tri-Recording Gizmatron. Enter the Mechamatic Guardian 0/1 (Dragonscale Hills) Destroy the steamworks who operate on the second floor. 0/25 (The Mechamatic Guardian) Defeat the Chief Engineer, Springotron 0/1 (The Mechamatic Guardian) Find the main engine area. The Tri-Recording Gizmatron will automatically activate. 0/1 (The Mechamatic Guardian) The location is at roughly -43, -31, -554 which is along the wall past the spawn spot for Chief Engineer Springotron. Return the Tri-Recording Gizmatron after it has scanned the main engine area 0/1 (Dragonscale Hills) You say, 'Hail, Overvolt Rigster the IV' Overvolt tells you, 'These engine schematics are invaluable! Now it's time to get the [security clearance cube] from the Guardian so my salvage bots can move freely through the behemoth.'
