Lodigar the Recruiter

This task begins with Wraithguard Lodigar in Valdeholm. It was requestable at apprehensive faction with Wraithguard.
You say, 'Hail, Wraithguard Lodigar' Lodigar laughs bitterly. 'I am here because I was betrayed by my so called friends and conscripted by the Wraithguard. All I can do now is wait for chance at [vengeance] and hope the shades do not take me first.' You say, 'Vengeance?' Wraithguard Lodigar says 'I'm kept under close watch here, but perhaps you can help. . .' You have been assigned the task 'Lodigar the Recruiter'. Seathir, Derein, and Gothar were Lodigar's partners inthe deals that forced him into the Wraithguard. Lodigar's partners however got off with out a scratch ratting him out to the city guard. Lodigar wants revenge! Sneak into the Valdeholm and kill Seathir, Derein and Gothar. Bring pieces of their shields as proof vengeance has been extracted. Deliver 1 Seathir's Shattered Shield to Lodigar Deliver 1 Derein's Shattered Shield to Lodigar Deliver 1 Gothar's Shattered Shield to Lodigar Lodigar will rest easier now that his vengenance has been extracted, Your faction standing with Wraithguard Leadership has been adjusted by 250. I was able to repeat this quest, although it might be a bug. I hailed Lodigar after I turned in the 3 shields, but before I claimed the reward. It gave me the quest, then I claimed the reward. I did the quest again shortly after, and got a second reward.
This is a quick, relatively easy quest to gear up a group of alts in a short time. I estimate in a couple hours you could get all four rewards on an entire group of characters (and a decent amount of xp and faction in the process), since each quest mob drops three items, and spawn in 20 minutes or so (no placeholders).
I simply bound at the area next to the smiths, killed Gothar and Derein, succored to the entrance and killed Seathir, gated and did Gothar and Derein again, Succored and got Seathir and I had turn ins for an entire group of characters. I repeated this over and over until I had all the drops I needed.
Completion of this quest gives +Wraithguard Leadership faction. The hits are considerable. Every time I did this quest, I bumped a whole faction level...from warmly to kindly, from kindly to ally. Wraithguard faction may be required to get the quest, but it's not changed by the quest.

They can be singled pulled whiteout any of the nearby mobs argoring unless they see you. So a good way is to run in invis, find a spot where you can cast snare from but are not to near the other giants then pull and invis up again, using inner camp or potions then run out again and lead them to your camp.
I found that a good camp spot is on the plain across from Derein house (loc 900, 150)
It is a really easy quest and we did it with a 74 beastlord as tank, a 73 cleric and a 74 druid. So any plate tank should not have any problems what so ever.

i got this today [Vengeance Stone
hoping it would stun to lvl 75 does not. I looked in the lucy coding and it didnt have any lvl restrictions will find out what the limitations are and repost here.

Lucy stuns with no level, are capped at 55, as per the original game stuns.

I can't confirm the exact lvl cap of the stun, but it was not landing on light blue lvl 60ish mobs, but it was landing on green mobs, so it is probably 55-60. CS 4 augs seem better, unless this aug has some additional aggro that I don't know of.
this aug's proc is harder to resist than CS4, but it does 25 less damage, and the stun is not as useful it seems

I was amiable with Lodigar and he did not give me the task.
it would appear his /con is related to wraithguard faction, but the quests he gives are related to the leadership faction. i have sent in feedback and bug reports on this while in game
I think you need Apprehensive on Wraithguard Leadership faction. I had done the Haesgrin #1: Incursion quest prior to getting this one, which you also need Apprehensive Wraithguard Leadership to get.

i think that would work TOO well! because there are ZERO female giants in the game LOL
I've researched this and determined that there are, in fact, female giants in the game. The problem is that they look exactly the same as the males. :)
