As soon as you run out of the city gates, head directly East...slightly SE and run that way towards some Undead Fisherman.
Around -1461 -2310 area...i was able to find 3 spawn points with 2x Mushrooms in them. It went so quickly that maybe it was 2 spawn points, but respawn quickly then :)
