This is the third event within the Deathknell raid expedition. Shortly after completing Vertigo, you will see this emote:

Ayonae shouts, 'Splendid! However, our work is not quite done. Though Mayong Mistmoore can no longer call in reinforcements for the moment, the leaders of his expedition yet linger nearby. I can hear the murmurings of more dark vampires holed away in the attic.'

Mayong Mistmoore's three confidants (Melkis, Ashtar, and T`Pall) are found beneath the trap door at the bottom of Vertigo alongside a horde of zombies, Truefaith elves, and dervishes.

The trapdoor swings open and you clamber down to the attic below.

The health of the three confidants must be kept within 10% of one another. If they are not...

Melkis shouts, 'Fear not, brother. I will lend you strength to fend off these mortals.'

...And they will regenerate.

During the encounter, they will also summon adds which must be dealt with. Each has a variety of spells in their arsenal.

Melkis, Mayong`s Confidant sneers, 'We have unwanted company. A little assistance with _____, if you would.'

Ashtar, Mayong`s Confidant sneers, 'We have unwanted company. A little assistance with _____, if you would.'

T`Pall, Mayong`s Confidant sneers, 'We have unwanted company. A little assistance with _____, if you would.'

Adds include Truefaith coercers, reanimated pianists, dissonance elementals, rotting accompanists, and Truefaith bodyburners.

Be advised that the hallways in this area are quite dangerous as banshees appear and attack with heavy damage output before vanishing back into the walls.

A spirit materializes, stepping out of the light. She looks around with her hollow eyes and screams!
A deathscreamer executes a FLURRY of attacks on _____!
A deathscreamer dematerializes, fading away.

As the confidants are killed, adds begin to despawn.

a rotting accompanist loses anchor to the Theater of Blood and is pulled back into the Demi-Plane!
a reanimated pianist loses anchor to the Theater of Blood and is pulled back into the Demi-Plane!
a Truefaith coercer loses anchor to the Theater of Blood and is pulled back into the Demi-Plane!

Once all three Confidants are dead, make your way downstairs to Ayonae Ro:

You say, 'Hail, Ayonae Ro'

Ayonae Ro glances from side to side, her dark eyes wide with madness. Her voice booms, 'The sanctity of this hallowed place has been fouled. Undead musicians and followers of Mayong Mistmoore are everywhere. Every time I have managed to slay one, it has been replaced moments later. If we were able to eliminate them all simultaneously, I could rejoin my choir. Please remove them and inform me when this is [complete].'

You say, 'It's complete'

A devilish grin spreads across Ayonae Ro's face, 'Splendid, _____. You have done well. It is a short manner of time before this Plane returns to normal. Feel free to meet me downstairs in the Concert Hall for the performance.'

Ayonae shouts, 'Meet me downstairs in the concert hall. Assemble the choir. We will perform again and shatter this bloodborne curse in four-part harmony!'

A forgotten strongbox spawns with loot: 3 items + 1 Twisted Harp String (backflag):

I can't confirm this, but I believe that once you say "complete" to Ayonae Ro after completing this event, the next event starts. After a few minutes the choir will aggro from downstairs, but the mobs are easy enough to handle. Mezz the yellows and wait for them to despawn, kill the nameds.

Oh, and with respect to this event: the mobs called "a Truefaith coercer" will do a PBAE stun. It is recommended to kill them first.

3 named mobs. I always forgot the names, so just have a druid track and tell you what names are up for group assignments.

Treat these 3 mobs like Jevlan. If they differ w/in 10% the loswest HP one will heal itself.

Set up groups like 1/2 on one name 3/4 on another 5/6 on another named

Set up groups 8/9 for kiting. You can root adds, snare adds, everything but mezz really. So was always like rangers/druids/sk's in these 2 groups. If you have an extra cleric to heal this is were the real healing is. The main mobs are gimp. 1 Cleric can keep a tank up on a named thru the whole fight.

group 7 will be a floater group, there are mobs that stun and charm you have to kill those mobs. I think coeserables are one of them, I forgot the other.

Anyways hope this helps. It's really a long event with a lot of kiting. DO NOT TRY AND KILL ALL THE ADDS, if you do you will never have enough DPS to kill the named.

Also when pulling the mobs up space them by about 3 minutes. Pull one kill all adds, get Mob #1 situated. Pull the second kill all adds get Mob #2 situated. No reason to DPS the mobs till all 3 are there. Next pull 3rd mob get adds undercontrol and start kiting. On repops they will run at raid and need controled.

Best place to do this event is at the bottom of were vertigo is. Pull the mobs up there, and there are 3 nice corners with no line of sight problems. Also when adds repop they will go up to the top and come down at you, so kiters can use the orc room and ramps to CC the adds.

Highsung will work on the adds, but really isn't advisible eventually you will have to deal with the adds.

Funny, we kill the adds just fine, and we're not really a high dps guild.
