After Wekland Greenfoot has been freed from slavery in the Mines of Nurga, he will respawn in Firiona Vie at Your Location is -1709.23, 1412.36, -275.50 (the post-war FV outpost). He wants three Nurgan Overseer Necklaces (drops off goblin overseers) and the Bone Collar of Henxsa (drops off Overseer Henxsa) from the Mines of Nurga.

You say, 'Hail, Wekland Greenfoot'

Wekland Greenfoot says 'Hello friend, it is good to be free from the stench of those mines. I have been hunting goblins of late and could use some help. Would you be willing to help me?'

You say, 'I will help'

Wekland Greenfoot says 'Wonderful friend, here is what I need help with. Deep in the Mines of Nurga there are goblin overseers that oversee the day to day operations. Go kill them and bring me back three Nurga Overseer Necklaces. I also need you to seek out Overseer Henxsa and bring back the Bone Collar of Henxsa. Do this task for me and I will provide a small reward.'

Slaves not found in FV

I just finished releasing Wekland Greenfoot on Maelin. He didnt repop in FV. Really ticks me of to have wasted all that time on a quest and get nothing for it. If the quest has been discontinued then take down the NPC's, SONY!!!
Turn in Level?
# Sep 10 2005 at 7:21 PM Rating: Decent
Is there a minimum level required to do the turn in (i.e. will he eat the turn in items if you are to low of level)?

Has anyone spotted Wekland since the fall of the FV outpost?

Nope.
Saw Wekland in Nurga, so decided to do the quest. Got all the pieces, including the ones to give him once freed, did the waves of gobs (either very small aggro radius, or wouldn't social aggro on 2 63's and a 60, lotsa hps, crap aa xp, no caster mobs, all straight melee and all blue to 63), appropriate next slave popped in his place IMMEDIATELY. No Wekland in FV or in the displaced FV residents current home in the ruined castle/fort across the zone.

Bummer. Woulda liked that plus 15 dex and agi.
Recaptured slaves

I think all the slaves were reset recently. I can confirm they are freeable. I've freed Pungub Brawlum on FV, and done the turnin there.

I just need to find a few people to do the same for all the other slaves. Especially this one, since I've got the pieces in my bag right now.

Where is Wekland

I have all the pieces to do this quest, but like Marshti, Wekland is no where to be found. I am baffled. The quest mobs have always been up before, so not sure what changed.

Wekland is missing from Tunare, unless I'm looking in the wrong place.
Where is Wekland?

IS it true that every time Sony resets the servers (with a patch, etc) the slaves have to be freed all over again??? If this is not true, Wekland is missing in FV on Rathe Server.

RARE!?

Went in here with a bunch of friends and we got Henxsa's necklace the first time she popped, but after 20 overseers we have ZERO of their necklaces. Anybody else finish this quest and am I just unlucky? Was it because we had some pretty high level peeps with us and they snuck in trivial loot rules? Any experiences would be helpful.

You've just not been lucky. The necklaces are quite rare drops, not to say ultra-rare. Keep trying and you'll eventually find some.

The same goes for all the other slave quests. There's one item on a named (always drops) and three items from one type of mob (rare to ultra rare).

Forgive me for sounding stupid, but, I've always understood that "Lore Item" means you can only have one, and this quest says "He wants three Nurgan Overseer Necklaces" am i missing something? All of the components of this quest are "Lore Items"

If you follow the links to the items, you'll see that only the Bone Collar of Henxsa is LORE. The Nurgan Overseer Necklaces are not, meaning you may indeed have more than one.
Faction?

Anyone know if this NPC would be KoS to my Ogre? I know the rest of the outpost wants to kill her, but if he's indiff, could I just sneak in and do a turn-in to get the reward?

All freed slaves are indifferent, regardless to Class, deity, and race. I've turned in for Ring of Sweet Serenades and Hideous Coif of woe, and currently am working on this one. All turn in NPCs have conned Indiferrent to me, and I'm Iksar. Also, all items are quite rare, and if I'm not mistaken, they're dropped from the tier 4+ mobs, I haven't seen any of the quest items drop from anything less, but with the rarity of the drops, it is possible.

I believe all the freed slaves are indifferent to all classes/dieties.
