You say, 'Hail, Kor Master Gloorg'

Kor Master Gloorg says 'Welcome back, young Kor. I hope your training is going well. Unfortunately I have been unable to keep up to date on your progress, but should you need advanced training in any individual skills, I am here to help you with that. As well, I am here to guide you through your growth as a Cleric in the Guktan Army. With the skills that you learn here, you will be better prepared to serve the Army. If you do indeed plan on following the path of a [Cleric], I have some tasks that you will need to complete, if it suits your interest.'

You say, 'I am a cleric.'

Kor Master Gloorg says 'Excellent! I will give you a list of items to collect, and then combine in this magical assembly kit. This will create a material that you will use to craft a suit of armor that will protect you from the various dangers of Norrath, for years to come. If you are ready to begin your task, I will give you the assembly kit, as well as instructions for collecting the necessary items to craft your armor. Are you ready to receive your [assembly kit]?'

You say, 'I am ready to receive my assembly kit.'

Kor Master Gloorg says 'Here you are ______, take this assembly kit, it is what you will use to combine the different items required to craft your own Kor Initiate's armor. Different items will be required to craft the different pieces of armor. These items will be available from both our outpost, as well as the training grounds near here. When you are ready to receive a recipe for a specific material, simply tell me which armor piece you [wish to craft]. I hold the recipe's for Kor Initiates [Helms], [Bracers], [Boots], [Armguards], [Legplates], [Gloves] and [Breastplates]. Keep in mind that the items required to make some of the larger pieces of armor will be a bit more difficult to get. You may want to wait until you are more experienced before attempting to obtain the components.'

You say, 'I wish to craft helms.'

Kor Master Gloorg says, 'Excellent choice, the helm is without a doubt one of the most important pieces of armor for a young recruit. It is imperative that you protect yourself from blows to the head, while you are in the training grounds! To create the material needed to craft your helm, you will need to gather a cracked skull, two bleeder wings, and a set of moccasin scales, and combine them in your assembly kit. Once you have the correct material, you will need to forge the items together, along with this mold, to craft your Helm of the Kor Initiate.'

Cracked skeleton skull

So does this drop from just the "skeleton" or does it also drop from the "decaying Skeleton"? Been searching for a goodly amount of time.

Does this Helm even exist? Every other Noob armor I can craft but this one, why? Tells me Cant be combined in this type of container, but its the same container I used to craft all the other pieces. Can someone tell me how to get this helm to craft?

bleeder wings?

I killed over 100 adult, ferral, and the named (needles or something like that)and not on bleeder wing and I need 2. I even logged in my 47 ranger to try and no luck. I submmited it as a bug. I tried several times both before and after a patch. Has anyone seen the "bleeder wings" in the last month?

Help?
# Oct 19 2003 at 4:50 PM Rating: Decent
Ok, two things I need help with.

First, the scales. Is the item actually called a 'Set of Moccasin Scales'? What does the icon picture look like? I've found some 'Moccasin Scales' which look like 4 green scale in the icon, but I'm not sure if this is it.

Second are the wings. Are they actually called 'Bleeder Wings'? All I keep finding are Giant Mosquito Wings and Small Mosquito wings. I've killed tens of all types of bleeders and found nothing but giant and small wings.

I had better luck getting bleeder wings off the feral bleeders, though they are a bit rarer then the adult bleeders
moccasin scales

I found these on a water moccasin, the hard part is where does the cracked skull come from? Skeletons? Also only gotten 1 bleeder wing so far from all the bleeders. Usually get mosquito wings.

I did find the cracked skull on a skeleton. Thanks for letting me know where you found a set of moccasin scales.

where do I find them? I have killed a ton of water moccasins and giant water moccasins, have yet to see these. Are they just super rare or am I missing something?

Got mocassin scales off Giant Moccasin, like the 2nd I killed. Got cracked skull off a Skeleton (forget if it was decaying or not) fairly quick.

Flying bugs have been dropping mosquito wings thus far. I'd have to say the bleeder wings are a rare drop.
