I have found that the marks drop from same mobs every time, they are not random like the jewels, I killed several mobs repeated times and they all dropped same mark as before, some are very rare spawn like the frenzied wolf, I havent seen him up in last 3 days solid play time, i will compile a list of named mobs and the corresponding mark then post it here when im done

I can confirm this, i just killed one myself and got a platinum chain. Now if i can just get the mark and the jewel... gonna have to start killing grol baku sentries to try to get a mark (and as far as the jewel goes, they seem to be really random)

The mark of stone dropped in Scarlet Desert off "A hardened Grol Baku Sentry". After spending about 12 hours in this zone yesterday I'm under the assumption that there are at least 3 semi-rare/rare spawn cycles. This guy would have to be #1 or possibly #2 in his cycle.
