This is a seasonal quest that occurs during the Tempest Festival event in early May.

You can obtain this quest from Ralph Mischeva in Jaggedpine Forest at 294, -1781, -13. He is on the find tool CTRL F.

You say, 'Hail, Ralph Mischeva'

Ralph Mischeva says, 'Hear me and rejoice. The Tempest is no gentle storm, he is a righteous squalling force. [Celebrate] and be awed by his power. All should cower and [fear him].'

You say, 'I have come to celebrate Karana's power.'

Ralph Mischeva says, 'The storm rages on. Do you dare [challenge] it?'

You say, 'I will challenge the storm.'

Ralph Mischeva says, 'The storms cannot be stopped but they can be appeased. If you can, [fight the rains] and your name will be carried upon the winds.'

You say, 'I will fight the rains.'

You have been assigned the task 'Reign of Rain'.

Ralph Mischeva says, 'May the Tempest bless your path.'

Ralph Mischeva believes in the awesome power of the Tempest. He has tasked you with defeating the rain elementals to provie your might.

Defeat the rain elementals.

1. Defeat 20 rain elementals 0/20

There are variant types of rain elementals (a drained rain elemental, a weak rain elemental, a surging rain elemental, to the north and south of Ralph Mischeva, along the river. They vary from Level 90 to Level 94, do not see invis, average hit around 9k on a tank merc but can hit as hard as 50K+, and have a load of Hit Points. Kill 20 of them.

These spawn very quickly after being killed so make sure to pull them away from their spawn point.

2. Defeat the bursting rain elemental 0/1 Jaggedpine Forest

Once the first step is done, a bursting rain elemental (level 94) will span just north of Ralph Mischeva (Your location is 545.47, -1774.44, -11.84). Kill it.

3. Defeat the swell of Karana 0/1 Jaggedpine Forest

Once a bursting rain elemental, a swell of Karana (Level 96) will spawn to the southwest, run in and attack you. Kill it.

4. Report to Ralph about your success 0/1 Jaggedpine Forest
