Tempest Festival - Singing in the Reign

This is a Karana: Tempest Festival event task that runs in late April to Early May.
Completion of this task requires access to the Plane of Storms, either through PoP progression (level 46+) or unlocked at level 55 on Live servers. You can obtain this task from Rosalind Mischeva on the west side of Plane of Knowledge near the pool. She is on the find tool CTRL F. You say, 'Hail, Rosalind Mischeva' Rosalind Mischeva says, 'Hail and well met. I do so enjoy a late [spring rain]. Make sure you take a moment and bask in the rain. I do so miss the [sounds of rain] during the summertime.' You say, 'Late spring rain? I have noticed that it has been raining more than normal.' Rosalind Mischeva says, '[The Tempest] blessed us with the Throne of Thunder and now he blesses us with soft rain. You should rejoice and sing his praises.' You say, 'I also enjoy the sounds of rain.' Rosalind Mischeva says, 'The crisp drops of rain sing as they fall from the clouds. They make such a soothing sound and I do love to listen to them. It's such a shame that they [only sing] for a few days.' You say, 'What do they only sing about?' Rosalind Mischeva says, 'They sing of the joy of cleansing and renewal. The joy of family and growth. What would I give to [listen to them] singing more.' You say, 'How can I help you listen to them?' Rosalind Mischeva says, 'Hrrm. I am told that there are rain elementals in the Plane of Storms. If you can collect some of their [resonance] I could hear them sing to me.' You say, 'How does one gather their resonance?' You have been assigned the task 'Singing in the Reign'. Rosalind Mischeva says, 'Take this music box and collect their harmonics. Return it to me, so I may hear them sing.' Rosalind Mischeva gives you Empty Box of Storm's Potential. Find the below elemental's in Plane of Storms, target them, and right click the Empty Box of Storm's Potential to update each step. Map File Locations: Put these in your postorms_3.txt map file P 1441.5442, 1292.1305, -456.5800, 0, 0, 0, 3, a_sprinkling_elemental P -395.9414, 1024.7128, -451.4437, 0, 0, 0, 3, a_drenching_elemental P -1318.7014, 2270.7649, -458.8342, 0, 0, 0, 3, a_rain_elemental P 544.8518, 1746.6973, -450.3990, 0, 0, 0, 3, a_drizzling_elemental or find them from the below waypoint locations Respawn time is about 50 seconds. a sprinkling elemental is found at /waypoint -1288,-1441,-451 a drizzling elemental is found at /waypoint -1744,-543,-445 a drenching elemental is found at /waypoint -1025,+399,-446 a rain elemental is found at /waypoint -2273,+1319,-454 Upon collecting the last elemental, you are given Box of Storm's Potential. Give her the Box of Storm's Potential. Your task 'Singing in the Reign' has been updated. You have successfully collected and delivered harmonics of the rain to Rosalind. You have been given: Air Elemental Familiar Rosalind Mischeva says, 'Thank you so much. I shall treasure this always.' For this one, all you need is to be able to zone into PoStorms after talking to the quest NPC in PoK. All of the wildlife cons dubious by default, so only the storm giants are a threat to anyone. Every elemental is in the same quadrant of the zone as where you enter, as the map file coordinates listed in the quest walkthrough show. All of the water elementals appear to be different levels, but that doesn't matter because you don't need to attack them--just walk up really close and target them, then click your quest box. They'll despawn and you'll get the quest update, then they respawn 50 seconds later. Easy as that.

I must be missing something. I figured this was the usual below 20%, or even 35%, but I had him at under 5% and still could not update. I saw the note about getting REALLLY close, and that didn't work either. Then I noticed my Use Ability kept getting interrupted, so I brought out my tank merc and backed away until it was under 50%. Under 20%. Under 10%. Nothing is working, including me almost on top of the elemental.
What am I missing? (gets ready to feel REALLY stupid)

Received 1237 pp and about .20 AA
To change your pet's form, you need to target your pet. Otherwise you just summon a familiar.
Also want to point out that you need to be REALLY close to the elementals.
