Is there a spawn time on this guy? stupid patch on august 26, 2003 messed up all wiz epic npc turnins. so far camin has repoped 3days after and challice later on. now im just waiting on this ****..

I did my oil turn in on August 12th. Firepot is still bugged. He ate the oil. I petitioned.The next day, A GM summoned me to Kandin. He gave me another oil and told me to try again. I got the "I will not aid beings like you" Message again.So the GM reset my Truespirit faction and gave me yet another oil.I tried again. Yet the same thing happened. So the GM gave me the Gabstik staff and the note for Antir.
Just wanted you all to know that Kandin Firepot is STILL BUGGED !!!

Got my Green Oil fresh from the Plane of Fear, (Easiest of the 3 fights, believe me) and booked down to this guy only to have him eat it saying "I will not aid beings such as you!". When I got done freaking out, picked up the things I had thrown, apologized to my wife and cats for the screaming; I petitioned and a GM said that Truefaction was bugged. Took a week of sweating about it (and explaining to my guild and friends from the raid why they had wasted their time) for an uber Admin-GM to grace Norrath with Her presense and give it back with the warning to wait until after the 7/10/03 patch to try turn-in again.
I am on the MOMENT the patch is over and I'm still waiting for this spud to pop. I really hope they fixed it. I would hate to have to go to Ak'Anon, find this gnome's mother, and Ice Comet her into gnome-paste. ;-)

Anyone ever followed through with his little side job? He asks for a dry, brittle skin that's flexible. Anyone ever given him anything, like a zombie skin or something, to see how he reacts?

How can I raise faction with him?
I thought faction was a problem for me. Indifferent wasn't working. But the truth is, I hadn't finished the previous section of the quest. I had the potion done, but not the ring and note part. Once I had finished that and gotten the note, Kandin started being more co-operative. And as has been documented many a time, you don't need to give Kandin the note, but really, what else are you going to do with it?
Oh, if you have helped reign terror through Plane of Growth before, be careful doing the Felwithe part, you may be KOS in the Pally guild now. But not to the woman you give the ring to. Invis to her and gate out. No probs.

You loc is correct. He spawns near a lean-to by one of the dwarf Denlon (sp?) sisters. I've been camping him myself for my Wizzie-epic turn ins and he has been up for the last 16 hours. So don't give up.

This guy coned white to a level 54. I had to con him becuase he was in the proccess of nuking me for 600dd. Hey, I just walked by, not sure what hes problems is :)
Your Truespirit faction must be bad. This guy is an epic MOB.

hehe yeah I know this guy still cons red to me at 47 so he cant be 45

Gnome in the South West corner of BB. Is higher than 45 (con red at 45). Sits beside the two huts with a lean-to by the ocean, with Den Ironblend. If you are in the zone, just do a shout if he is up. Druids kite the Den and her sisters from the hut constantly, so they will be able to tell you if he is there.
