I myself am on the rose quest and killed this Petrified Stonegrabber. he had on him 2(and they are lore) mark of explosion, iced nectar, a priceless book, frozen hailstone, mark of charm, hope onyx, bracelet of friendship, tarnished gold nugget, fastened links, talisman of moisture.. looks like a reciepe of some sort.. I don't know what tho. Just letting ya'll know.
Spawns at loc 1152, -600. Of the two stonegrabbers here, this is the northern one.
Placeholder is a ‘stonegrabber’ - and can probably spawn as one other named stonegrabber.
There are 8 total stonegrabbers in zone, each on a 13 minute respawn time.

has anyone seen this creature or no what i have to kill to make him spawn looking for the petrefied totem for Fine Antique Velvet Rose Quest. Lvl 31 Druid Redwolfx on Storhammer server
By killing any Stonegrabber, there is a chance for one of the "specials" to spawn. The Petrified is in a series of special stonegrabbers. I would suggest you get with a group that all want the special drops, and kill any stonegrabber you can find. All the specials are used for quests by different classes.
But, a word of caution. Some people like to hang around, not helping in the tedious kills, just to jump onto any specials that spawn. So, keep an eye out for this.

dude i waited for many an hour and killed for him to pop and i learned one thing....just go to Rathe and get about 450pp thats abut what mine cost(449pp woo hoo) and just get it that was its a much better use of your time.
