This guy isn't too hard to spawn. Got him 3 times in just a couple of hours dropped the shield and legs. Group of 3 65 Druid 63 Cleric and 70 Beastlord all botted.

Yes he is a rare spawn in Radir's Tunnels. Only have seen him once in a dozen raids and he dropped a shield for us :)

My guild took this picture the first time we took Fyrthek out, see me in the background? Yeh thats me.. I died shortly thereafter because some goosh forgot to slow him. Ahhh well.

Quad for 350 (for an Enchanter). A Good Group can take him out. You can go down to him invisible. nothing in this little caves see inv.

So basically, this anonymous guy has no idea how to do it himself, he was just in a group where someone did.

Seriously, how DO you spawn this guy? In most of Luclin, it's just killing the guys that look like him for a half hour or so. Am I to assume that this is not the case here?

Your guess is wrong. He spawns in the caves/tunnel system with all the fyr jen aliens. He drops the Burning Ring, Shield of Burning Flame, and at least the spell Moonfire.
