I somehow ran into this guy twice in a row while running around the mountains on my bard. The first time he dropped a Kobold Head, but the second time he gushed with stuff:

I'm really sick and tired of hearing about exploits and using pathing bugs. Every player in the game uses NPC pathing to get exp. If you have lev and sow up do you not keep away from the npc and make him follow the valley and hills while your up there going in a straight line blasting him? Pathing Bug! Do you not try to find a place to fight or spell where the npc has to walk around an object or find the door like you did? Pathing bug! It is Sony's code folks they wrote it, I only use it to my advantage. If I find a place to hunt where the NPC's have a hard time getting to me, then more exp to me! Of coarse I keep those places a secret for me and my friends. Everyone in the game looks for an edge when fighting, just because I look for those places does not make me a cheater. If this bothers you then never group again, you have an advantage over the NPC, take all your gear off, that is an advantage too, and go out naked and tank solo the deepwater goblins.
This crap can be carried to the ninth degree, play your game, keep your mouth shut, and leave me and mine alone!
Out here doing the swiftclaw sash quest which is a long and boring quest. I decided to start the Wakasashi while I was out here. Down to 1/2 half I stumbled upon this guy on my track and decided to engage. He was easy took him down to 1/2 health before I got aggroed by 3 mobs. Ran off to zone and kept him on my track. Nice shammy near zone healed and buffed me to the max, and I went right back after this guy. Some wizzy was holding him in place for me and blasted as I got back to him. He let me loot the head. Also got a 2HS weapon - Aged Filthy ******* Sword Delay 40, Dmg 13 - WAR, PAL, RNG, SHD. Turned the head in and got the Titan Blessed Tanto. Very nice little piercing weapon, gave it to my wife's little twinked mage. Thanks nice Shammy and nice Wizzy for your help.

He Is not part of the Swiftclaw sash. To get the Sash from killing 4 Heritic Invaders and combineing their heads in a bag you get. Rognarog's head is for a different quest for a Titan Blessed Tachi.

Partially resisted a couple of my DD's, and couldn't snare him until he was right upon me. Am a twink lvl 30 with 202 wisdom and some mana items, had to med for an extra DD to finish him off after he started running. he dropped the kobold head, which is supposed to be for the haste sash quest. Now I gotta get the 3 other heads--if anyone knows the name of the other mobs for the other heads, please post here.
Ah this guy may also drop an item for Riddosens final quest. I found a spirit in the zone who is ally to my erudite SK, when I spoke to it it reveiled it was the spirit of the great Riddosen and wanted help for revenge on a beast that slew him. The spirit said it needed its great weapon that was lost here in an earlier campaign so it could take solid form to kill this beast. I feel the aged filthy sword dropped by Rognarog may be this weapon. I guess give the spirit the sword and recieve a totem in return, then either kill the monk like cat in the outpost, the one that plays with his beads, or maybe Riddosen himself will kill the cat. Then give Riddosens Ghost which spawns after the cat dies the totem for a reward. I havent done the quest yet but will give it a go if I get my hands on this old sword.
The weapon that spirit wants is a Lance from Cazic-Thule -- some travelling needed for that, but the reward is worthwhile if you are an Erudite Shadowknight.
We took rog out with a 25lvl ranger and a 30lvl druid when we pulled him into the cat village and found a pathing bug in the village itself. At that point all we had to do was nuke away. (Also took out a silverback this way)

we know what exploits are jackass so please dont post the obvious... and if no one exploited things there wouldnt be such a thing as exploitation, and verant wouldnt know about bugs like that....
"if no one exploited things there wouldnt be such a thing as exploitation, and verant wouldnt know about bugs like that"
Verant does not go around congratulating exploiters on finding and using bugs in the game. People actually use /bug to report them, instead of using them for their own gain.
I think it was reasonable to warn those that would use the exploit. Know why? Because this exploit has been made public. Guides and GMs read these boards. If a bug is known and commonly used, a GM can soulmark you for using it. Not only will Guides sometimes watch places with known exploits, but players that are Guides on other servers will petition you for using it if they see you do it. Remember, Guides are players, just like you. Not everyone here may know these facts, so a warning to the unwary was warrented here.
Now we all know what server you play on and how you support the use of exploits. Take a bow, bright one.
I saw him on track while solo'n a cliff along the eastern zone's edge. I believe he is a warrior because he cast no spells and didn't resist any of my spells at all. Ofcourse I am a 37th lvl druid, but I found him a very easy high blue kill. They say he's 30th <shrugs> He dropped a kobold head, a cold iron mask and an aged filthy sword 2H, I think it was 13/40. He was a snare, root, drones ,immolt...wait root immolt, drones...dead. Didn't know there was a quest thats why i came here, geuss I'll keep the head till I figure out the quest.
im just wondering, how tough is this guy and can he be solo'd, i did not plan on coming here till i hit 30 with my ranger and only then till i was satisfied with all the stuff that is in this new zone. i love doing quest and i pray that verant does not mess with this one on that damn Triv loot code. probably already did though oh well. Thats my 2cp worth.
He's not that tough. Definately soloable with my 33 paladin if I play smart. The main thing is that Stonebrunt is add city. Even one add and you've got a long run to the zone.
I believe that killing Kobolds doesn't improve Kejekan faction so that the Erudites that the Kejekans hate can't raise their faction with them. That or they are very wise people and not so easily swayed by good actions from evil people...
Head is used in a quest for titan blessed weapons. YOu get a random one each time you do the quest. Dont remeber the kittys name but hes in the main hut in the village. Also he drops etched iron armor i got legs and neck peice off him. Legs where ac 11 svm 2 and 5 weight
