the coordinates given are correct +300 neg 1500 which is in the SE corner on the land, if looking at maps its on the aviak#1

He is a human, was indifferent to me (an iksar).

...um. Was this NPC moved at various times with Epic questline additions or something else? Or does he have multiple spawn locations/placeholders?
Also, we could be getting discrepancies if he moves around depending on era (with progression server players seeing him in different spots than current live server players).
Kazen Fecae was underwater when I found him near his usual location. I could stil hail him and continue the quest but it made locating him rather difficult.
I was walking through lake rathe today, but uponing zoning in from rathe moutanins, i was surprised to find myself staring kazen right in the face. Have never seen him at the zoneline before, but maybe he's been moved for some reason?

I suggest you bring a tracker because I found him at the water's edge underneath the bird.
(Edited, um I meant Kazen of course. For Edwin Mott I found him in another weird spot near the zone in to Western Karana. Just wait a while for him to walk over.)
Was working on epic 1.0 earlier today and got to where I needed to talk to him and give him head of Sir Edwin Motte. I got to the island where the stone skellys and single aviak spawns are, and looked for him for a good 10 minutes. I used the loc and looked all around the island, till I finally checked down in the water and there he was :/ Dont know how he got there, wouldnt respond to any Hails or the /say commands that trigger him, so I pulled him out of water with a snare spell that he resisted and FD'd and waited till I got the aggro cleared message. Got back up and he still would not respond to any Hails or /say's so I petioned a GM and waited a bit then logged with no respond yet : ( Just curious if this has happened to anyone else before
Just soloed this guy on my 65 ench, lol was bored helping a cleric farming Lord Bergul so I decided to run around and find mobs to kill the faction/xp, ran into this guy along with the other whom is a LOT tougher, anyhow just Rapture/Cripple/Slow/Strangle this guy also get an animation up and haste it and this guy is toast just cast Arcane Rune when be breaks it and DD. He only broke through my AR once. Insanity does roughly 5% for of his for 1170 dmg. Dropped Robe and Zennors thesis page 16.
Not sure is the "Cheat" still works but as of 3/30/04 he cons red to me LvL 55 necro. I just finished the Chardok part with a group of 4 Very easy camp Herb dropped within 3 Spawn cycles. I'm not sure takin this dude on is worth the trouble. /shrug
well... time to clear some stuff up :) No 1... this guy never aoe'd us when we did this tonight... no 2 His apprentice can dd for 700... no 3 he doesn't hit for 1400 consistantly... one time was 1400 then 100, the next 1100 then 500, next 200, 100... he's very inconsistant... we did it with 9 people and only 1 healer... I recommend 2 but not too tough. And yes... you can kill him to bypass the chardok piece of the necro epic... killing him spawns the needed npcs that drop the stuff :)
Okay here goes. My necro friend says that theres an alternative way of doing part of the necro epic. To avoid going to chardok you must kill Kazen and his other wizzy friend. Once you have killed them both, 2 skellys (unsure of level, blue to 52 Ranger) will pop. You need to kill these asap so they dont despawn. Once those 2 have been killed, a spectre (red to 52 ranger) will spawn. Kill this guy and he will drop part of the necro epic (unsure of what it is, was 4am in the UK when i helped out so i had to log as soon as he was down). Anyway, info on the mobs. We had 3 groups with average level of around 54 (no 60's) First of all we killed Kazen's friend who was no problem at all. Then it was time for Kazen.....a totally different story. He AoE nukes for 700ish then when hes OOM he starts to double for 1400 (not a typo 1400!!!!!) We somehow managed to kill him, iwas the only melee alive due to the fact i got feared for half the fight and the casters had lots of agro so i just ran around after him till he ran. The 2 skellys tha were next werent a problem with only a handful of us left. Then the spectre spawned, quads for about 200 and fast. Most of the healers were oom so i dropped at the very end with the spectre on about 2%hp.
Anyway, hope this helps you. Not sure if its easier than the chardok part but it was fun for sure.

I alredy messed up with FP Militia, so I cant just walk in FP and kill Sir Edwin. Someone said that he spawns in other places. Any ideas? About the level, this guy was red to my lvl 55 druid friend.
I just walked right through Freeport into the bar with gather shadows and made pet on the stairs on the other side of the wall, pulled him there with lvl 1 lifetap and after a LoH pet soloed him with 98%hp left. No adds or any bs--easy as that. Note that Motte was already up when i got there but he does have PHes, Gorofola or whatever his name is that owns the forge and some other dood not too sure GL.
Anyone know what faction he is on? Or how to raise faction with him? I'm dubious right now and have successfully handed in a number of symbols, but he doesn't speak to me. I'm looking for a way to raise my faction a bit before I turn in the later pieces. I'm at the refined manisi herb part of the quest and I don't want to take a chance on losing that. Thanks for any help.
