Well, seems like like the VI dude who created the MoBs in SS was just really sleepy or in a rush as many of the names on the Sentries are spelled backwords words like Stone and Rock. Also, i(24 Bard) was buffing the crap out of a lvl 60 warrior, a lvl 60 rouge, and a 53 cleric so i got all the loot in that group. we cleared the entire courtyard. All i did was twist my haste, mana, and Sheilding songs while the tanks ripped through everything. They were there for faction. I got myself 5 peices of guardian 3 sapphires, 1 diamond, 1 BLUE DIAMOND, and a fire emerald. Not to mention i only went down from warmly to indifferent in SkyShrine while making over 30pp just off of cash. Anyways, all of the gems came off of Sentry Enots and Sentry Kcor. Weird huh? Also, the drakes near the CY were dropping upwards of 8pp everytime, the max i have seen before from them are 4pp. Maybe a bug or something?
The reason these guys are so tough is because they want to deter you from killing them. Why you ask...because they quest NPCs. You turn toes, giant warrior helms, and mercenary assignments over to either of them. Notice the Kromrif Recruiter just inside Kael...notice how he's green...actually VERY green. Like level 1 green...but he has the HP of a high end mob. Those that keep asking if they drop armor...no they do not. If
Yeah, I understand why Verant uber buffed them. But AGAIN the warrior gets screwed. Cause we can't invis and everytime I go in I need someone to either invis me, or train them so I can run past em. I love being a Warrior. You always need someone else to help you everywhere, and you can't solo. All we got is hp.
aye, they are tough, im a 51 bard and I can easily solo the sentries inside, but those two at the gate are UBER. Meleed one for about 1 minute and didnt even faze it, resisted more than half me snares and DoT's too...unlike the ones inside.
I'll elaborate on my post for Sentry Kcor here, since they're both the same deal, and I've killed them both several times in the process of getting people Cobalt Scar keys since then. I was level 53 magician when I first took them on (level 54 now). They can be easily single pulled, just stand at the tunnel entering their area and whack one with either magic or an arrow or throwing knife or whatever. I pulled them back into the room immediately after the zone. When i was done with either one, my level 51 earth pet would end up with about 20% health, and I'd go from full mana to none at all. They hit for about 70-80, only double hit since they're so low (about level 25). I'd estimate they have about 10-15k hp. They also heal themselves, and cast some manner of dd spell (not sure what it was, but it had the same animation as the shock of spikes line). That's pretty much all there is to know about them, and unless you're a 51+ solo-type class or in a very capable party, I'd recommend avoiding them at all costs.
Well... just in Skyshrine, and only the sentries, we have: Shard (Sentry Drahs) Wetmud (Sentry Dumtew) Lime (Sentry Emil) Foam (Sentry Maof) Traitor (Sentry Rotiart) Dirt (Sentry Trid) plus of course Rock (Sentry Kcor) and Stone (Sentry Enots). A nice lil hidden laugh from VI.
It says in the description that these two guys (Enots and Kcor) drop no loot but then shows sentry armor under their known loot. Do they actually drop the armor or is it a mistake?

Very green to 44. Has around 7000 hp. Nasty dude, I charmed him and killed Kcor with him, he's significantly stronger than Kcor (finished him with about 1/4 hp left). Battle took FOREVER - Kcor has around 5000-6000 hp, good thing charm didn't break much. No loot, other than some vegetables.
