I did it that way:
I am Lvl 57 with bad faction in The Overthere.
I tried to find the guy 2 times in the Out post without success because always 4-5 guards crushed on me at same time before I find him.
Then A friend Rawko lvl 90 proposed me his help. He joined me. Let 's say it was a the group. I waited outside the Oupost, not far from the PoK tome, but far enough to avoid that Kurron Ni detect I am in the group.
Then the friend tracked him , and found him close to the bank. He pulled him and run to the Pok Tome then zoned. That way Kurron Ni was alone close to the Tome. I went to him, did the discussion, gave the items and money. Then He desapeared. = He switched to Epic Version
My friend (who came back in between) tracked again, found him, pulled again to the tome.
Then I said the famous "What mission" (a bit difficult because Kurron Ni was walking at same time). He attacked. We did the fight (of course for a lvl 90 it was easy, I just had time to cast one spell and slash 2 times). Then the letter dropped !!!!

Saw him just when i started the Sk epic quest, but didn't have the darkforge items so after ive done the darkforge quests and return to him i havent seen him in days. Frustrating

He still is where is supposed to be on AB.
Killed with my main necro, max hit was 177, only one in 1.00 mins of fight, most was around 88-66.

This part of the quest works just fine, at least on the CZ server. Hand in the three items plus the plat and he changes into the epic version. He did not attack my sk though until my sk asked "what mission". He then attacked and I two boxed him with my 70 sk and 75 mage. Very easy. I did not throw any spells. The note dropped.
The reason Kurron did not drop the note for those other guys in the below posts, is because they did not kill the epic version. There are two versions of him just like there are for a number of other quest mobs.
And as for skipping him and going to the cough elixir step...I dunno if that would work. Although there is no yellow message (a sure sign of a flag) after the turn-in, nor after the death, there still may be some flag somewhere that we can't see that needs to be set, in order for the epic quest to work. Plus, turning in the note does grant some Truespirt faction which might be needed.

I've already completed all quests leading up to the turn in with Kurron Ni. However when i finally Found in him the game the second time ( wass gonna do turn ins) I hailed him. Not sure if your suppose to give him the items before U talk to him or not. Didn't have an option. I asked "What mission" and he begain to attack. I killed him and he dropped Nothing. Of couse i didn't turn anything in to him. So the real question i have is Does he have a Timer and if so. Could anyone be so kind as to let me know.

Duo'ed this guy today 68clr/56sk...The SK did the dialogue but FD'ed when he started attacking after typing "what mission". Mob didn't aggro when he stood back up, we engaged the mob and when he died had Nothing on his corpse, so just in case don't FD after you start the cycle, BTW he still stands at pos3200pos2200 at the bank by the water.

for some reasno he dose anwser me when i tell him i am worthy..did this 3 spawns now and he still dose nto want to anwser..anyone else havehting this problem or is it just me??

It's really funny how on Tallon Zek he's always there. Maybe this is due the the fact that the place is THE darky outpost, or that the epic is nearly impossible without a mega guild such as Pandemonium, Veneration, or Indignation to help complete the damned quest...but either way, I am going for it...(btw why the hell is everyone callin him Kirron Ni when in actuality it's Kurron Ni? Bugged me when I first looked for him)

He gives no faction messages when killed.
As of mid January 2002, he still spawns near-ish the corner where most good races bind in the Overthere Outpost. He still responds to all the questions offered by the quest description. I have yet to gather a large enough group to kill him yet though.
He is, however, on quite a long spawn cycle, and seems to get killed fairly quickly after spawning. Given that very few Shadow Knights seem to have their epic on The Seventh Hammer, there must be a lot out there who have started it.

OK there has to be something wrong?? he never there i check everyday for a month on bertox unless some other groups are cutting him up within the second he spawns but it cant be possible to get ur group there and ready to go in a second! Ohwell ill keep looking, Is there a way to skip this guy?

okie the skinny on Kurron NI his exact spawn /loc is pos3248 pos2220 if kos swim around east wall stay on sand he spawns just before the door of the first building you see he is well out of agro range of everything so being kos doesnt mean anything. proud to say we did him with 8 people 4melees 4 healers
he has you top of hate noone could taunt him off me if i stepped back he summoned me so make sure healers have you targeted lol

Isn't it possible to skip this part of the quest? If Kirron Ni is so hard to find, just go to the Neriak Foreign Quarter and tell Smaka you need a bottle of cough elixer. Then go to Paineel and give the elixer to Duriek...
Or, kill a Ratman guard in The Hole and bring the dusty tome he drops to Durniek...

reason you never see him is he is highly camped and usually killed within an hour of being spawned there is no way to make him spawn and he is a week spawn so good luck and have a grp ready when looking for him because if you catch him your well on your way for the epic

He is there to start the SK Epic quest. He spawn's in the outpost by the water on the East side by the wall, but he's never there.
I'm trying to start my Epic and need to know how to get him to spawn. Any help would be appreciated.

Who is this guy and what is he here for? A friend hailed him and he said "Out of my way stranger, I am on a delicate mission. Interfere with my search and I shall releive you of your head! Bother me no more." My friend foolishly did not head his "bother me no more" warning and asked him "what delicate mission?" and he said "You think I'll tell the likes of you my mission!! Die pitiful fool" and promptly killed my friends low level DE with three punches.

Ok, very simple. He is the start of the Shadow Knight Epic quest. I bumped into him the other day and hailed him. I foolishly asked him what mission as well, and he put a whooping on me. Luckly I FD'ed and waited about 20 minutes before he left. I then ran to the Bank and camped to clear the agro. Do not ask him what mission unless your lvl 50+. I found him standing close to the wall, right near the ledge facing the water. Didn't get an exact location though. For all you would be questers who's faction with VS isn't good, no worries as he isn't even close to any of the guards or other Outpost NPC's. Hope this info is what your all looking for.

I have read that he is the NPC that gives the SK epic quest weapon. Note his name is Innorruk spelled backwards. You may have to be a very high level before he wil talk constructively with you, however.
