Andad Filla  

Couldn't find Andad in his usual spot, so I did a little tracking and found him west of the orc camp just north of the Innothule Zone Line. This is on the Fippy DarkPaw progression server. Not sure what he's doing in this new position and wondering if it's on every server or if it's a bug just on Fippy server. His loc is 821, -348

For future reference to any bards attempting this quest (and those who hate having to /loc everything), Andad is right next to the Innothule Swamp zoneline. So if you zone in South Ro from North Ro, he won't be on your track. Just head over to the swamp and he should show up :)

soloed him at 51 as a necro, but had kei (for the bonus mana then swaped to lich once oom)and had aego, i had tried him once b4 and had to gate b4 he even lost a bubble
the key to this guy isnt massive damage, is mana efficiency cause youll oom b4 hes at half if you bod or ebolt, just really worry about keeping snare and fear up and splurt and ignite are good cause they are cheap mana wise and easilly run thier full duration, he does give xp, no loot at all and no faction hit
(also muzzle of mardu helps) i was at 1 bubble of health at the end when he died from getting beat on when fear broke when i was to lom to cast, but hs will keep him off ya even after it wore off he didnt summon so i had a sec to stand and get mana back to re fear, tried again the next day with a 51 rogue and got 1 fear resisted and summoned b4 i got it off and we both died =( but a really fun fight, gave half a blue of AA solo at 51, and my guess is only 15-20k hp <heh only, jeeze>

People have reported that this fellow is part of 2 quests.

The Bard epic which yields the Singing Short Sword (bard only, duh)

And he is also part of the race across the Karanas quest.

I just got done doing this quest...starts in WK at that first guard tower you see comming out of qeynos...you go to misty thicket then to So Ro (Andad ) then to lake rathe then take the ring back to the starting NPC in WK...she will give you the top half of a music sheet...from there i have no freakin idea...

This guy is 51 since he did con white to me at 51 and blue at 52. Im currently lvl 52 DE Necromancer, and i have mixed feelings about NPC's. If they are indiffrent to me or up ( amiable or whatnot) then i leave them alone. If they are dubious, or lower then they are fresh meat on the table. So i just waited for this guy to be blue to me and i gave it a go. ( was bored had nothing else to do) I rooted him to see if he was magic resistant. Root stuck...so i jumped for joy! Cast Ebolt, Dooming darkness, splurt, Bond of death, ( Had regrowth cast on me a while ago by a friend) and lich. Sat down and memmed fear ( was fighting in Lguk so had Screaming terror in its place before ) and right when i stand up saying to myself this guy is cake, he summons me. That's when i knew that i was in far over my head, hehe. So i just ran....got summoned the and hit for 114, ran, got summoned he missed....this time i FD. Looked at his health bar, and it WASN'T EVEN A QUARTER OF THE WAY DOWN!! I said ***** this i'll try him at lvl 53 with my new rogue pet...first spell will probably be darkness, next spell fear, pet, dot's, rinse and repeat...shouldn't be too hard..i hope lol

He is a Level 61 Quest NPC.

He has 32000 HP.

They give him this kind of insane level and HP so you WONT kill him. He is not meant to be killed and will poof (no exp or anything else including a corpse on death)

Maybe Verant should give these quest NPCS an INSTANT UNRESISTABLE DEATH TOUCH, and you mindless d3wds will stop killing everything that moves, and start trying your "h" key instead.

Ive killed Bajillions of Bards and this guy is indifferent to me so no he is not a bard!

Me lvl 60 necro and two guildies both lvl 51 attacked him. He was red to the 51s and blue to me. The fight was going ok till I went oom. Make sure you keep him slowed my slow ran out and that was the end of the right he got out of range of me till his fear droped and he summoned me. I would fear him again and by the time I get slow off he is out of range. The lvl 51 wizard died but I got to the zone and the lvl 51 cleric gated. We had his to 1/8 or less heath. We are planning on going back and killing him. This time with the cleric healing my pet and me.

Povar lvl 60 necro

I was in Sro killing orcs with a SK troll. Then the orcs out numbered us, so we had to zone(luckely we had sow) BUT, the SK had to cast a spell on him(he was around lvl 12) Then, with one hit, he was dead(the sk)

What quest i've seen this guy lots but i can't hail him if you know what please reply to me

Also, I don't think he is a bard since all the bards I have encountered have been warmly to me, but he is only indifferent. Also, he is used in the relay quest, which begins in West Karana and ends right outside of the Arena.
