Confirmed, spawned in Under the Robe. The graveyard was closed off so we had to take tunnels to reach him.
As to the strat, well the following doesn't work:

As to the strat, well the following doesn't work:
- Any strat involving dropping agro - Fade gave a message that he could not be dropped from the agro list!
- Conserving mana - he casts the mana drain every 5-25 seconds
- Distance - mana drain has a 600 range
Untried Strats:
- Avoiding line of sight
- Weapon Shield melee burn. We ultimately were forced into this strat when tan went down, and got him to 30% health with our very meager DPS. With better DPS this makes the named pretty trivial.
