After you come out of entry hall follow the left wall and drop down. nearby you will see a castle. When I saw him, he was in first room pacing the floor. Don't know if he has a PH. as it was the only time i have entered the castle.

Last night we camped outside the castle, along the left wall. That's far enough way that stuff inside won't aggro unless you want it to, and being outside lets you see the wanderers that might be inclined to aggro through the wall. Puller should clear the outside and then, if the chanter has mana, start pulling the inside, but you'll often get 2-3 (got 4 once and had to evac when we lost the chanter).
We had no fewer than 11 people, as many as 15, which was about our fighting strength when he popped. Dropped the Loam Cap, which went to the only enchanter in our party.
This hunt is great xp for high 40s and low 50s, and with the random loot table even for the common mobs you've got a wonderful incentive to kill everything that moves.

Killed him tonight, he dropped a loam encrusted cap. May also drop withered leather cap, but we never got one, so can't confirm it. When you enter the castle you can either go straight or left. Left goes to the jail and the city, straight leads to this guy. Go through the broken door, and he's in the room with the fireplace, seems to be a rare spawn, and there are 3 other mobs in that room. I recommend not camping in that room. It's doable, but you get a lot of adds from the entry area.

Don't know what all this bad bot drops, but he dropped Holy Dirt of Brell for my group tonight. Magic, No Drop. No stats, just some item, prolly for a quest.

Magician epic quest item is dirt of underfoot, of slix the mighty. The holy dirt of brell is something else.
