boxed him with mage/druid..druid pulled him an cast invs an ran to kill spot in open area near guard dolan...the other scarecrows did not assist so the pull was easy mode max range caster dps =no fear..mage pet never got feared..pretty easy fight at max range

He also cast Fire Bolt on us. Did not have logs running so did not see how much damage it did, but was single target and took a chunk of HPs. Perhaps this:

Dropped "Spell: Permeating Blaze Rk. II"
Pulled him to the hill and stood behind the rock and let the pet tank him, no fear the whole fight.
Do I Have Too?
Best to clear the area all around this guy or you WILL wind up w/ multiple adds from the fear.
