For anybody doing the Hunter achievement, as previously mentioned: Not only is he harder to drop because of the Shield effect thing that gives him a boost to HP and Defense, but he is also the harder of the 2 to spawn. Jorth was up in the first cycle, while it took about 6 to get him up. Then Jorth spawned a 2nd time and I just took Jorth out for rd 2.

This guy was tough. Pulled him to the Druid port-in spot. 105 Druid w/WAR merc and 100 silver Chanter w/CLR merc.
He casts an AE roughly every 8 seconds. The AE was taking the Druid and chanter down to 50% health. The silver CLR merc quickly ran out of mana. The Druid had to chain heal and also ran out of mana. Staunch Recovery AA FTW. After popping staunch, the Druid used up another 90% mana chain healing the WAR merc.
It was a painful fight. A professional Cleric would have helped.
He dropped Vines of the Domain, Median Alaran Cantrip, and Palladium Ore.

I couldn't agree more, this named was hiding in ally amoung all the quest mob, killed domain hunters at joriths camp and after two joriths this elder popped.
Let my newbie skills activate. If i just looked him up i see he has this rune. minimum debuffs. Malo tashan slow . Keep null magic up. He killed us first go got him to 13%
Second 80% we died. Added healers and healers.
Success fight was 92 chanter cleric mercj5, 92 mag j5cleric, 90 ranger j5 cleric.had a 87 ranger outside geoup spam healing also. All i did was nullify magic him till his rune was gone. Reslow keep burning. dropped dagger and kolos wrists.
Second hardest name i have fought. Thunderclap still holds most trivial with his stupid warp. only cause it messes with my mag pets tanking...

this is an all dps fight. heals were nto a problem with 1 95 cleric and 1 healer merci... if u have no dps to drop that rune on him then u will never kill him....
Just adding to edelacruz's info that the ability Shield of Nature is cast every 15 seconds.

hardest named we've run up against yet after taking on jorth the hunter and bopo. dropped today with 91 cleric, 92 sk, 92 sk, 92 monk, 92 wizard, and 92 shaman. dropped Beasts' Domain Tangle and Greater Alaran Cantrip.
