I'm not quite sure how the spawn cycle works here but here is what i did. I had a 60 shadowknight with pet out and swam in the lake in front of upper guk. I just sent pet and slaughtered as many things as I could until one of the names below spawned and killed them. I would see one every minute or two. I think you have to keep slaughtering everything to get them to spawn because i think it may be random. Here is the log of the names of mobs that I killed (in order) and what item i got from turning in the Slayer Captain Necklace. I camped this over a few days, but this particular log is from a 4-6 hour stretch. Seems like the humanoids and the "a troll slayer"'s are not on the same cycle as i have seen them both up at the same time.

See subject message. I tracked one of these today in Innothule Swamp with a druid. Be careful they are VERY magic resistant. After I killed him trashed popped so if you're looking for this mob kill trash critters and hope he shows up.

Many of the mobs on this page no longer pop due to the froggie take over of grobb.

Does this guy still pop and if so where I've been lookin for ages and can't find him. Troll slayers also seem to have stopped popin. Is this due to the froggy takeover?

well, i have a lvl 32 SK ogre. he is an uber twink, twinked from a lvl 60 and a lvl 52, 60 is warrior troll, 52 is necromancer iksar. well i saw he conned green so..... i go up to him and i attak him, figuring i no need to fear kite since it is green and an SK can solo past lvl 40. i hit him for 14, lowest i've hit in a long time, and he reposts! he reposted for fricken 35 2 times, not alot for me but battling a green! GEZ! i start hiting him for the 30's and i figure since he was hiting me for high 30's and low 40's that i fear kite. well i tryed to land enfluging darkness and he resisted, so i try again, and again, and again, and again, while he STILL isnt dead from all the melee. well i look at my HP and it as at fricken 2bubs left!!!! i'm like OMG! i do all dots i can and he still no die. he is still reposting so that is his 35-42 melee DMG plus his 10-35 reposting DMG. i am almost dead so i decide to run, he is SLOW! i outran him without a sow. i look back and he's a mile away, still running. i figure if he's low on HP i should land my darkness, and i DID! i ran a little bit more to get him off my tail(wish i had one), and i land fear! i run up to him and start attacking, and i'm hitting for high 30's now. i play a few lifetaps, restack the dots and he is FINNALY dead! i loot the damn corpse and i got some necklas that does +5hp so i switch it with my other one that did nothing but 1AC, lol. well, i could have killed a blue easier and gotten EXP that way! lol. i also looted about 5pp, ok for my lvl, like the average blue/white drops that. i would just like to warn you peeps out there that wanna do the mandra's secret mission quest...DONT DO IT! after you kill all the things your KOS with the trolls! i killed this guy and it took me from a fricken ally to indeferent!!!!!! it sucked! never kill him! even if you KOS already, that way you have to kill about +1000 to the already 3000 frogloks to be no KOS, plus quests!!!! if you read this ty for listening, took me about 20 minutes to write it, lol. well later all for now and see you on EQ

Not just that, maybe your skills suck? that happens to a lot of twinks, they have this gear, and these great weapons, and hit like girls. Your skill never gets the chance to advance because it takes you like 1/5 the time to level... well you reach a point where it will catch up to you....so if (hypothetical i dont know the number) level 15 your 1hs is at 50 or something, yours is only at like 10. just like an honest player will max out a skill and soon need a better weapon. sounds like your doomed to fight some cons that BARELY give you xp (which will take all day if your killing in like 2 hits). or let one of these 'uber' friends let you hit a sandgiant in the **** while he holds argo. kind of sounds like you suck to me. Also you CASTING is only as good as your level, he may have high MR or - again... you have not had to cast up to par for your level.

only people that dont know how to play cant get skill ups with twinking... its easy just gotta know when to spend your points and how to equip yourself

Conned even to my 14 shadowknight. Couldn't take it, had to zone. Hits hard and can take a beating. Even blew a harmtouch on it.

dont be folled by this guys level, by level 20 ranger in ivy etched with a slvery war axe and a ssom could only barely kill this guy, and that qould bbe by kiteing him, he his fairly hard and has a VERY HIGH AC

Yep, these guys are tougher than they look. They also have a high magic resistance, so beware.

Green con, but smeared my level 23 warrior. Hardest that he hit for was 34, which he did it quite often. As the posts say, very high AC; he landed four for my every one. I fled for the zone when I was down 2/3 health, hopping over tree knees to stay out of the water. He wasn't hard to outrun without SoW. He will die for his impudence!

well he must be really hard if so many had so much problems but i dont think he would stand too long against my 33 monk. lol FBSS Baton of faith Master wus trance stick and a Cane of Tranquility just to duelwield. So i would like to find this guy and get his necklace for the bag quest in oggok anybody know where he spawns?
