Queen Klicnik  

It is Klicnik, not Kliknik.

just sit in the little hidden room and kill the prince or princess to get the queen to come. she will eventually come. Spawns are about three or four minutes a piece or so.. not bad at all. With my monk and at level ten killing the queen was no problem but i got good weaps n stuff. Also note that the beetles with out eyes con blue at ten and the one with the eye will con white. I think this is much easier to do than run around randomly in EC or WK looking for em and hoping that one drops

To the two previous posts on enchanted silver. How long ago did ya get your eyes and why does mine not enchant silver?
Mine says nothing yet above i see a picture of one that has enchant silver. I WANT THIS CRACK< HOW DO I GET AN EYE! Sullon Zek, Vaxius, 11th season Bard.

Ok, so does the eye still enchant silver or not???
Or is the eye now part of a quest where u can be awarded the enchanting eye? Whats the deal? I am so interested in this eye. Does it even exsist anymore? fill me in on the details people =)

Just go to WC for the legs, if your looking for the legs for the BUG COLLECTION quest in Misty Thicket. I think Damatree Pinefolk said it the most simple.....

I Then was curious as to getting these "Giant beetle legs". I decided to hunt the QUEEN KLICKNAK (or whatever). I decided to take my ranger, because shes awesome for finding what I want, when I want. I kept seeing and Killing the prince and princess klickklacker bugs, I keep seeing all this crap about the Queen being a slow spawn, so i was looking into it. It seems the QUEEN (who I saw once in the secret area near gates - to enter aquaducts) is on the SAME track with the princess and possibly the Prince klicknik. That makes them potential place holders. This means they are either killed, OR something happens TO them (with them) and then the Queen is spawned. I also noticed, if I hit the princess and kept her alive long enough the prince Klikcer bug would start spawning.

(similar to Conflunk and Zarchoomie in BB - just look at the quest - in essence you kill a goblin shaman, cornflunk spawns on a SUICIDE run, hit him and keep him alive for 10 minutes, THEN the other hlaf of the quest (zarchoomie) spawns))

So I hit her and stood there for like 10 minutes. I am kind of wondering now if the prince and princess MAKE a queen (by doing the bipity bopity)... (but USUALLY get killed while on track) The queen spawns IN the secret area to zone into the Aquaducts, (where the prince and princess seem to go to (cough))

(I have seen her there for CERTAIN with Valdon)

Also North of the secret room, near zone edge (i have seen the prince and princess spawn here. The prince seems to prefer this location, then going to go meet the princess in the secret room. SOMETIMES she will spawn here. They both seem to have this suicide run if they spawn here. Its a South west run at a 45 degree angle, to the road, due south on the road, then dangerously close to the guards. Then they cut in to shack up in the secret room. I think they both have to survive to make QUEEN. Odds are next to nothing.

Another interesting fact. I am not sure if I should post, because its SOMEWHAT and exploit / spoiler. is...

It seems almost NOTHING will go through this secret wall either unless its on that track. Nova starshine or whoever, gnolls, named darkpaws. None of them. I would back in, and instantly the critter would turn tail and walk away as if I zoned. The prince, and princess will walk in. My guess is because its their track they ignore the wall, while other critters not on a track see it as a barrier. I got ONE rat to, but it took me stepping VERY carefully in baby steps. !!! The interesting thing, as they walked away, my arrows still landed !!! Esentually making a free killing zone. If stuff gets ugly you can also just zone into aquaducts....<ahem>

Might want to be added to known bugs / exploits.

This damn queen is NOT attacked by the guards! I am on Vallon Zek, and a lev 5 ranger. I was hittin a drone or something like that when the queen came over to rough me up. I ran past the guards, into the town, and the slow queen shambles by the unmoving guards as I watch, horrified. I ran into some shop, up some stairs, and turned around. The queen opened the door, and cracked my head open. A gm said that the queen is allowed to roam free without them attacking, or some crap like that. If I was a guard, I would kill the nasty queen on principle alone. -Artan

They spawn in secret wall.

Here's the deal....

The Prince, Princess, and Queen are all placeholders for each other... If one exists the others don't (the definition of a placeholder!).

Spawn time is 2-4 sec after one is killed. Spawn is random as is location, can be anywhere a snake/rat/bat/etc will spawn. Once they spawn they make their way to the path then run down path to the city. If left alone they will turn away BEFORE the guards and move to the left of the gate (left when facing the gate) and head to the secret entrance to the aquaducts and sit there.

Queen no longer drops the enchanted giant fire beetle eye, and now only very rarely do hatchlings appear.

I was fighting the queen once and splatered all over the newbie zone. But while I was fighting the first queen I saw a second queen wonder by. they jump in if you attack the firebeetles. The slaughter of the princes and princesses will force the queen to spawn. she is for the most part like dippy and suicdes by going to the gaurds.

I killed a Prince Klicnik today and the Queen just appeared right where he had been standing, so I'm guessing the Princes/Princesses are the placeholders.

They're only lvl 1... really fun to stomp on :)
