killed today with 75 SK,Shammy and Ranger and 3 mercs all had task dropped 6 fingers. So it's not broken

This named is located on the island just before you take the bridge up to Guard Ellery. His PH is an enraged gnoll berserker located in the shed like thing youll find there. I camped this guy for the severed gnoll finger...after 2 spawns no fingers. WILL SOMEONE GIVE ME THE FINGER. LMAO
CORRECTION: ALL of the named will drop fingers...just make sure that the first person to aggro the named has the task. Fingers will drop.

Killed this guy over 10 times now with no luck on finger. I have a FULL group with Shadow Knight, Ranger, Cleric and 3 mercs. What gives? This must be bugged.......
All in group need task .. otherwise no finger drop... like lurkers

An enraged Gnoll Beserker is PH. Seemed to be around 20 min spawn time. Dropped the Deadclaw and 6 severed gnoll fingers on 12/15/08...

spawns on the island by the elite ledge. Enter zone and follow the right wall to the door, go down the long tunnel to the rope bridge, cross the bridge and that wooden structure on the island is his spawn point. PH is an enraged gnoll berserker.

Should have mentioned earlier, he also drops Severed Gnoll Finger x6 for the "Send the Message" quest linked above.
EDIT: Does not drop the fingers every time. :(
