Assistant Librarian Krekn  

This NPC (Assistant Librarian Krekn) was up in Kaesora Library when I zoned in. It was the roamer around the top of the eastern pit above the spiral staircase (roaming around location (/loc) -1219, -1330, -248.

The PH that respawned after defeating this named, was "a hateful revenant", who was visibly carrying a book in his secondary slot (left hand). This is a closed book, with a brownish-red cover, made of a leathery-like material, and black triangles at the top and bottom corner of the cover. The tops of the pages are visible and white. The primary slot of the NPC appeared to be equipped with some kind of sword.

It is possible then that the various PHs for this mob in the zone are the mobs carrying a book in their offhand. If this pattern holds, then it's one way to identify the various PHs for this NPC around the zone. I will try to report back should I have a chance to try out this theory.

Killed him 2 times today and he droped both capes and no sk sword.......... Wasn't rare spawn killed roamers and he popped at top in the northern ramp.

spawned 1st level down in the circle pit. (Where the Imperial Scourge is.) PH is the pather.

The mob pops in the library. The first building you see when you enter the area. Go inside, up the ramps. In there you will see a few librarians and guards. Krekn or his ph will be on top of some kind of pedestal in the middle of the left side of the room.

Assistant Librarian Krekn will tell you to Shhh and cast silence. When you head to the pit side of the Library, you'll come to the place where you first drop down, it's a white tiled area. So you're one level below the entrance level, you've walked down the ramp or dropped down but you haven't entered the deeper pit. Now as you walk around the central pit on the white tiled area, you'll come to the ramp down (Location neg 1277, neg 1330).

This spot appears to be safe from roamers. You can buff here and rez here. If you want, go down the ramp a bit. This is where I chose to pull Krekn. He roams back and forth along the walkway and paths past where I set up. There is also a golem roamer that paths this way too.

I pulled the golem first and killed him. Then I pulled Krekn. I do not know Krekn's placeholder. He was up when I came to the zone. Now as you come to the camp spot, watch out for mobs that have cryptic in their name, e.g., a cryptic prophet, a cryptic diviner.

Some of those mobs see through invis. If you try to walk down the ramps to get to the bottom of the dungeon, you will run into a few see invis mobs.

This is a fairly tough zone if you're tank is under 4K AC. A 3.6 or 3.7 AC tank will need a lot of healing IMO. I was able to keep such a tank up but you are burning through mana to do it. For Krekn, we had our usual 4.5 buffed, level 83 tank and he handled the mob with ease. Average hit on 4K tank was like 1,400 or 1,500. Krekn silenced me for a brief period, but the healer merc in group saved the day. He dropped the Ebonweave Drape and the warped seminal luminessence. Yellow to level 83.

The rogue noticed that a Stonefist Cenobite (probably will spawn as different roaming mobs) spawned some timme after we killed Krekn. He is a roamer. His range covers what Krekn was walking, but it's larger. He walks over a bigger area from what was observed. We suspect this roamer is the placeholder. But we don't know yet.
