I decided to go over and kill this guy a few days ago. I my wizzy was lvl 8 at the time and i killed him twice. The first time he dropped 15 silver and then the second time he dropped 6 gold now that's good money for a lvl 7 npc. then i attacked him a 3rd time and by some fluke he killed me. He does hit a little hard for his lvl
I just found a possible answert to my previous question, about what this faction is. Someone suggested that this is faction with the actual god Karana. So anyone who worships karana, or a god allied to Karana, may want to reconsider killing this guy.

What is Karana faction. it doesn't say karana residents. who is on Karana faction. not listed on illias?
Nice to find a low level npc by water. You can sit next to him, and fish, beg and sense direction all at the same time. Good spot to build skills, but he will occassionally attack when you beg. Make sure you are higher level, and zone if you don't want the Karana faction to go down. Easy to beat though.
