I know he is an old named mob, and is probably not hunted much any longer...but I see he is listed as lvl 65 on this page. I am staring at him as I type, with my lvl 66 zerker..and Pythos is conning white (even).

a slithering python is the PH.
I've soloed this guy a dozen or so times with my shaman while I was farming monkey rock for the hand aug. If you can heal more then the 3000 per tick you should be able to just solo tank him like I do.

He's in the ruins behind the Druid Rings.
He must not see invis since I was running around doing the monkey island mapping quest and I ran right over him with my 67 Necro.
I haven't found anything yet on Monkey Island that sees invis. Not even the undead guys in the south end of the island.

Level is definitely incorrect. He was white con to level 65 last night.

Tried to duo him with a Beastlord and Druid. Definatly underconned with that DoT. Not worth the loot IMO.

The dot is NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASTY. I have no idea how that wizzie soloed him, but nice job. I box 4 char, and one usually dies to that blasted dot. Easy mob once you heal though the dot.

DOES flee at low health :) And that DoT is nasty! Still managed a wiz solo on this one, around 60k hps on him
Level is wrong :) He conned light blue at 75 (spawned on Monkey Rock island)
